The Otter Box phone case itself is pretty bomb proof. I'm a field technician and use my iPhone to communicate and photo-document jobs, usually outdoors. I occasionally drop the phone, sometimes on concrete with no harm to the phone. One star deducted for the holster. Flimsy cheap plastic, prone to break off the ears when flexed one time too many. Why not make on out of aluminum or stainless? I would pay extra for the quality.

The Luther box defender series is worth the price just for peace of mind with your iPhone. I also like the belt clip attachment so I don’t have to put my phone in my pocket.

Always been an Otter fan. Easy to assemble and definitely protects your phone from damage.

I have been purchasing these cases for years. I got tired of my kids dropping their phones and cracking the screen. This case is heavy duty and will save your phone, even if dropped on pavement.

Like the case. Fits as it should and is an easy grip. Makes the phone slightly bigger but that was expected. I love the fact that they have removed the plastic sheet over the front allowing you to use a much higher quality protector. I don’t like the fact that after 2 months of having it on it tends to feel loose. The plastic shifts ever so slightly and I worry that it will damage the finish of the phone.

My whole family uses Otterbox Defenders for iPhones and iPads. After years of use the phones are in immaculate condition when taken out of the cases. They have also been dropped and fallen off surfaces numerous times with no damage.

The case is a bit bulky, but it absolutely protects your phone, and after awhile you won’t even notice the bulkiness. I’ve had my phone fall onto the pavement a couple of times without a scratch. Well worth the investment.

Case bought for sister who can’t keep ahold of anything. She’s probably dropped her phone a million times and then some. Case is still going strong and has protected her phone from any damage.

Great case would recommend to anyone. It doesn’t have a screen shield with it however. From The picture it looked like the front was covered but it wasn’t. Buy a glass screen shield if you want the front protected.

I’ve always bought OtterBox cases for all my iPhones. I have only had a couple slight cosmetic issues with them in the past but nothing major. I’ve dropped my phone countless times and never have had a cracked screen or broken phone.

This is my second Otterbox Defender and I got this one because my first one kept my old phone safe. I can take my phone out of the Otterbox and wipe it with a rag for it to look like it was when it was new in the box.

Bought this case for my Son. He is rough on phones. I believe the Otterbox defender is one of the best on the market. He has had his iPhone. For a few months now with several drops. No damage to his phone. This case is a winner!

I for this for my wife since she tends to be a bit rough on electronics and am so happy I did. It adds a bit of bulk to the phone but there are no worries about it getting broken, that's for sure!!! Very happy with the unit.

I had an OtterBox for my phone before and when I got my new phone a chose a different one and I’ve had to replace my phone shield 5 times because of dropping it! I went back to the OtterBox and haven’t dropped my phone once!

I bought it for my father and he loves everything about this case, he has dropped his phone pretty hard at least 30 times since he's an elderly person. And not a single scratch to be seen! Indestructible

Purchased this case for my iPhone XS to protect the phone against the ravages of young children. So far, the case has held up well and protected the phone. The case is a bit on the bulky side, but not horrible. The speakers are a bit muffled with the case on, and the rubber makes accessing the lightening port and silence buttons a bit difficult. The mute and volume buttons are easy to use.

This is as best as you can get to perfection. I like the soft rubber shell. Great for shock absorption. It would have been better if Otter would not have done away with the built-in screen protector but is still great as is.

I’ve long used Otterbox Defender cases but had to replace my last one with the pointless circular whole on the back as it started to peel. This newer Pro series dispenses with the whole for better protection!

We bought the phone case after buying a new phone. This purchase has been worth it. There are several pieces that combine to protect the phone. The case is well made and has protected the phone really well so far!
