Q: Is the OtterBox defender pro rugged protection for SE phone is it waterproof ?

A: The case does not protect the phone from water. It may improve the chances of surviving some light rain but it will do nothing to protect a phone from being submerged in water. All new iPhones, from iPhone 7 and newer, are water resistant and can handle being dunked into water briefly, some models are more resistant than others but defender pro is NOT waterproof.

Q: Does the design of the OtterBox Defender for the iPhone X make it difficult or impossible to swipe from the outer edges, inward, to the center of the phone? Significant functionality requires swiping from outer edges which are typically covered by cases.

A: It does allow for easy swipe from the edges, easy to use.

A: Yes my wife and I both have this this model case with our iPhone X’s. (Plural, not the XS)

A: screenless I got a Zagg to go with it
