Picked up the Defender right after I upgraded to XS Max. The case has some bulk to it but for good reason - it's thick, rugged. I dropped my phone already once on the concrete and the Defender was not phased. The holster is nice because it can clip on the backpack or laptop bag easy. Highly Recommended. Very good case if you're working a lot out of the office and there are many hazards or chances you'll drop your phone.

It goes without saying that when you get a high end phone. A case is necessary. I always have used OtterBox cases because when I dropped my old phones the few times I did they were perfectly fine. The only thing is that I used a Defender case with my old phone but it had a built in screen protector. This one doesn't. However, an Armor Edge glass screen protector fits perfectly into the case.

I like this case!! This is a sturdy case that protects my case better than other cases I have tried. The only down size is that to be good at protecting my iPhone, it is a bit bulky. Not really a big deal, as I got used to it very quickly. All the buttons are easy to access, and ports are all sealed quite well so dust and moisture stays out of the iPhone. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Like the color and the fit. Doesnt make an already large phone to much more bulky

Slightly more bulky than I wanted, but appeared to be best option for protecting my iphone XS Max, plus gave me the option of carrying the phone with simply the protective case or using a belt clip.

I bought this case for my new iPhone Xs max thinking it would creak like my previous iPhone X case. This case is an improvement from the previous defender case. The clips to attach to the phone are sturdier and lock in tight to protect the phone. The rubber casing is also improved on with a more grippable surface. I would definitely buy this case if your prone to dropping the phone.

This OtterBox is well made and feels awesome. On my new iPhone Xs Max it feels like it's wrapped in an armor shell. I had an OtterBox on my old iPhone 6plus. it protected my 6 plus for almost five years, and my 6plus still looks brand new and, never had a crack screen. OtterBox is all i deal with, not saying that other good cases aren't out there. OTTERBOX hell yeah

Well made. Extra protection. Handles great. I actually prefer the bulk of this case for texting and phone calls. I have fairly large hands and the case gives me a better hold on the phone. Highly recommended. Only downside is I don’t like using the belt clip and it’s bulky in the pocket.

Great fit and protection for the new iPhone Max with out being overly bulky.

This is a bit big and bulky, but it provides awesome protection against damage from dropping it. The belt holster is convenient, but it will snap and break if you catch it on the edge of a counter top or a chair arm while being seated or getting up. All in all, I have used these for several years and I am quite happy with them!

I swear by otter box. I love them. They really protect your iPhones. I was worried because this didn’t have the plastic screen but so far so good! I just make sure to keep the screen faces down in the clip when I’m not using. I have dropped my iPhone XS Max and it’s fine as usual. Thanks otter box defender.

Right after, I had my screen protector at the store installed did it only made sense to buy a Otter Box case to ensure my expensive Iphone to added the additional well assurance. Who knows warranties these days aren’t great so an investment made perfect sense for those needing a heavy duty case.

had an OtterBox Defender for my last phone and loved it. I got a new phone and the Defender Series was not an option . I purchased the Symmetry Series case as that was all OtterBox had to fit my new phone. I am very happy with the case however it does NOT come with a screen protector. The cost is nearly the same for each case while the protector is not included in Symmetry Series. I had to purchase an additional screen cover from another company . So...it's a good case but not worth 5 stars because of the additional expense for complete protection.

I will always go with an otterbox. I’ve had others including life proof but my phone feels more secure and protected in the otterbox and now with this new series they don’t have the big open spot on the back that shows the apple logo, which in my opinion makes the case look more appealing.

Otterbox fit & finish is great!! Had the defender series but decided to moved to the defender pro! The Pro includes a belt clip carrier and has higher raised sections to better protect the screen and camera. Case also fits perfect with a zagg glass screen protector.

I've always used otter box that is a very durable case that provides a great amount of protection for your phone. One improvement I noticed over my previous otter box is the rubber pads on the back to keep it from sliding around in you hands or automobile.

Highly recommended for any iPhone or other brand phone Great security and easy to hold feels great in the hand. He will need a screen protector though because it doesn’t have the plastic over the face of the phone but get a tempered glass looks really nice.

This case is strong and reliable especially if it drops. It protects the sides and the entire back of your iPhone XS Max. I recommend getting a screen shield protector to add for protection. No complaints and it’s in my favorite color which is Purple as well as Lilac.

My wife drops her iPhone daily, so we needed a great protective cover. This is our second Otterbox we've bought and like the first one, it fits perfectly tight, feels solid and we have confidence that it will protect her phone from it's many future drops.
