I have airways purchased Otterbox phone cases for most of my phones because their durable, well-designed and rugged. The cases are made for the novice phones to the professional phone users and offer that piece of mind that the phone is protected from falls and a variety of impacts that would normally damage a phone. Hands down the Defender series case is the best option for your cell phone investment.

I've used OtterBox products since the Note 2. None of my phones sustained damage from drops, bumps, or other harsh treatments. They were not waterproof versions. I lost 2 phones to water damage. 1 was lost for not having screen protection. None of that due to poor case design. I use the defender series on all my devices with full confidence. OtterBox is long lasting and quite rugged. It is easy to install, when installed correctly, and more importantly, to remove, also when done correctly. After 7 years on my Note 4, the headphone flap, opening on the plastic portion of the case, finally broke off. Still it continued to protect the phone with the rubber case component. I continue to trust my equipment to OtterBox Defender Series products. They are well worth the cost. $59.00 is a small price compared to replacing a $1200.00 phone.

I would never use any other case! Otterbox may be the most expensive case, but its also the best! You get what you pay for! I bout this 2 weeks before the phone itself came out just to be sure it was protected from day 1! Always fits perfect and protects everything!

tuff cell case just heavy although so is the s 20 so it does not work well with my 360 ball to where the s10 did awesome

so far no complaints I've still got a lot to learn about the camera. It has great battery life and is super quick and smooth

The Otterbox Defender case remains the one & only choice if you're actually concerned about ruggedized protection for what you call your phone but really is your investment. With phones now creaping into the $1,500 range for these high-end phones, losing a device from a drop in the parking lot or even to a tile floor in your house just isn't a choice. The answer is the Defender case. The case is a 3-part case, 2 parts that form a clamshell frame around your phone, and the third part the rubberized outer cover that attaches to the frame providing protection on all corners and sides. The rubber outer case also provides superior grip when carrying or using your phone, more so than their next models down (Commuter and Symmetry). The case also bumps out a good distance off the back of the phone to fully protect the large glass panel that holds the cameras. Many other cases just sat flush with this and provided limited protection to the one area you likely bought the Galaxy S20 Ultra for in the first place -- the cameras. While the case is much bulkier and more expensive than other Otterbox models and other manufacturers, there just is no equivalent for protection. The case also comes with a clip-in phone holster for your belt or bag, but I think most of us stopped carrying our phones in belt holsters about 10 years ago, so this will appeal to a limited number of individuals out there. The clip on the back of the holster does, however, lock open to create a phone stand that you can prop the phone up at a viewable angle. One warning I will say about the holsters specific to previous models when I did use the holster, the clip has a bad habit of snapping off if you catch the phone and torque the clip vs. the holster. I broke countless numbers these previously. I do not intend to use the holster with this phone, so can't say if this will or will not continue being an issue, but know from experience it is a problem. The charging port on the bottom is covered with an attached rubber plug, which I do find a little annoying, but is designed to keep the moisture out of the USB-C charging port. Other ports on the case are open to allow unabated use of the microphone and speaker. Buttons on the sides of the phone for wake/lock and volume are activated by integrated rubber bump-outs on the case. And finally, while I have not had to use it for this phone, from my experience with multiple previous Otterbox cases with other phones, Otterbox fully backs the case and the holster with their no-questions-asked warranty. Heck, I even had a dog chew a holster and it was replaced free of charge. Ultimately, yes, this is a little more bulky. Yes, it's a little more expensive. But yes, it is ABSOLUTELY worth the extra few bucks on something that will likely last you the lifespan of the phone and will help protect that investment you're on the hook with for the next 2 years.

A great case for the s20 ultra 5g. Most importantly it stick out far enough to keep the camera from getting scratches when laying phone dow but isn't too bulky to hold in one hand. It fits the phone nicely and isn't too hard to put on. Still allows the use of a screen protector so that another big thing for me. Finally the blue and grey compliment each other really well so you get a nice looking great quality case for a reasonable price.

The Defender Series Pro Case was designed to save your expensive smartphone from accidental drops from all angles. It is easy to put together. The belt clip is an added value because the case is bulky when held in your hand. I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra and it fits perfectly. I always get Otterbox products for all my new smartphones.

It is a big case. Not the easiest to pull out of your pocket but the tradeoff is in its protection. Actually today I dropped it about 4 feet onto the tile and the phone had no damage. I have tested it with two wireless chargers and never had an issue. I like that the camera in the back is well protected and the back has a sort of grip that protects it from sliding off a table. I have never used the belt clip but it does feel like a high quality plastic.

Otterbox truly lives up to its name. This case fits perfectly, and snug. No damage to phone from 10 ft drop (from a ladder). The belt clip holds the phone securely with a complete 360° spin. The belt clip stays connected well, and also gives you the ability to fasten the phone forward, or backward facing. I will surely use this case with any new phone going forward. Highly recommended!

it fits perfectly and protects the phone well without being too bulky. I'd say this case is the best you can get to protect a phone. The edges of the screen are still accessible to touch without feeling like there's a gap that would lead to less protection. The camera block is recessed into the case, which makes it feel a lot more protected.

Got this case because it seemed the most protective, is a bit bulky but thats what comes with the peace of mind of drop protection, used a glass invisible shield with it and slapped on an adhesive metal plate for my car holder, comes with a belt clip which I always use. Seems very solid.

This case is very rugged but has a TPU outer layer that gives it nice grip. It works great with the Samsung wireless fast charger. I think that I wouldn't like it as much if I had to use a USB charger. It is very bulky but nice quality.

This is the best phone case I've ever owned. With such an expensive phone, I wanted a case that offered the best protection. Not too clunky and the material offers enough hold so you won't accidentally drop your phone.

I had LifeProof case for my s10e. Dropped it from knee height on a hardwood floor. Easily protected with an almost $90 case right? WRONG! Completely shattered the back of my phone. Should've gotten the Otterbox but something told me "If its more expensive it MUST work well." After buying an almost $1600 S20 Ultra, I KNEW Otterbox would protect it and didn't even do any research on any other cases. Really love the clip that comes with to hook onto my pocket (very good grip, even during a slight jog doesn't come unclipped) and also love that its raised JUST enough so the camera panel isn't directly on a surface, but isn't raised too much where it becomes bulky.

Bought the case after my wifes Galaxy S20Utlra had the glass repaired by Samsung.. the Samsung branded case we purchased before had almost no protection. This otterbox case is sooo protective and rugged. I know no case makes a phone indestructible but this case is the closest thing I could imagine. I love that it doesn't slide around but the outer shell is not sticky or too soft. I almost want to buy one for myself... but it is a pain to have the same case. We constantly leave the house with the others phone. I may have to buy the gone fishin version for my wife, because it's almost a dark Tiffany blue.
