Save phones from damage.

They do save your phones from damage. Dropped my phone in a store doorway and the door closed on it. Other than a chunk of the rubber case missing, no phone damage. This new case does not have the clear cover over the screen like the others I have had. Probably due to the way the case must be designed for the newer iPhones. You'll have to buy a screen protector extra.
