Great durable case, with magsafe for the win. This can is just enough without being too much.

I was struggling to put it on at first and thank God I didn’t scratch my phone. Once it’s on, Lord it is sexy! I haven’t own a black phone case for so long, particularly OtterBox case. The hard plastic and silicon layers provide the ultimate protection surrounding your phone like no others, making it a bit heavier when you hold it for a while in your hand. Upon reading and watching a gazillion videos and reviews, this case was my final verdict and I love it, plus, I got it on sale!

This case is really durable and so much better than the other one we had. Has a good grip and the mag safe is an added plus to use with the dash mount.

Just got this so will do some updates as I use it for but so far very happy, MagSafe seems to work excellent, as good as an Apple MagSafe case, coverage/protection is excellent, and it is not slippery at all, the sides of the cases are very grippy with the rubber, The color is nice but I’m not a big fan of the OtterBox colors and the fact that they have no lighter colored cases

Very durable case I like it I’m very satisfied. Even though my local Milpitas, Best Buy did not have the widest selection of iPhone cases I found this one.

Great case! Held up for 2 years, until I switched to an android! Went through tons of drops, never any issues. Grip on the side is nice, and I like the color.

This is the second of these cases I have purchased (both from Best Buy). The pros: The case is a hard plastic (2 pieces) that protects the phone from drops and banging into things. I drop my phone a lot. The buttons also work well. The charging port is covered. The cons: The case is slippery. The charging port cover (rubber) is fragile and will break after repeated use. My last one fell off in just under one month.

Great tight fit. Truly keeps the phone protected on all edges. It’s a bit tough to put on the phone, not impossible.

Excellent grip, good solid protection. Buttons are a bit stiff, but maybe will soften over time. A bit difficult to put on, so don't buy if you take your case on and off a lot.

This is thin and light weight and the best defender I have ever had and I have been using the defender ever since iphone came out.

This case is the best I like otter vox because if something happens they fix it and you don’t meet to pay out of your pocket

The case has been durable through the handful of falls and has protected my phone from any damage when I accidentally dropped it in water. I have been impressed with my purchase thus far, and while it's a tad pricey, it's worth the cost.

2nd one I’ve bought loved it until it broke still loved it after because it broke my phone didn’t slight weak spot on the top left corner (likely due to small amount of material space due to camera placement) still protected the phone when dropped onto the corner directly case lasted about a year

Otterbox never fails. This case works just as described, sturdy, strong very protective and the MagSafe feature works 100%.

This case provides great protection for my phone. It would be even better if there was a cover for the screen. You will still need a screen protector. The way the case is made, it keeps the phone from hitting the ground if dropped. Excellent protection for sides and corners.

So, I had to buy a new Otterbox Defender. It was cracked and broken around the edges. Why? Because I left my phone on the hood of a truck that drove away. I eventually found my iPhone at an intersection and it was run over several times. The screen was unharmed, thanks to a screen protector. The back was shattered. I’m typing this review on the iPhone that was given another 9 lives due to Otterbox

Otterbox has found a way to improve on their Defender series case making it thinner than the OG case while still giving you confidence. I recently had to have my iPhone replaced and wanted to mske surw that my new phone had more than the last one. I’m very happy with my choice. This case has grippy sides, a hard back, and doesn’t add much bulk to my device.

Only OtterBox for me, it’s proven itself over and over again, with that being said the Defender XT model is made for the MagSafe type chargers which is what I wanted, but in order for the iPhone to connect to the MagSafe system they had to do away with the full rubber/silicone wrap around the iPhone, so with the XT it’s only rubber around the edges, it doesn’t feel as secure in my hand as the regular defender case.
