Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated. This is the first case I’ve been disappointed in. From the first day I had to keep having to push it together. Finally it broke beyond repair. The broken piece snaps and hurts my fingers when I take it out of my pocket. After a couple months I requested a replacement from Otter Box. No response from them at all. Apparently I’m expected to buy a new one after just a few months. Not going to be an otter box.
