I ended up getting a commuter OtterBox instead for my iPhone 13 mini. The defender XT is a little on the large side so I just went with the smaller one in the commuter case since it is a smaller form factor.

It’s very hard to put on, and I feel that I run the risk of scratching the phone. The way the overall case is designed, you need the inner plastic rim, so can’t just disregard. If not for that piece, it would be a solid case. Disappointed in otterbox quality lately.

This one is hard to put on but once you do you’ll be impressed at how protected yet non bulky your phone feels. As someone who isn’t the type to switch cases unless necessary I would definitely recommend this one for it’s durability.

Bestbuy had listed this case as being able to fit the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I had originally bought this case ahead of time and found out when I received my phone from Verizon that the case didn’t fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Overpriced and oversized

My iPhone 14 Pro got screen crack while cover with defender and alpha glass protector. Ottherbox doesn’t reimburse but advertised that they do up to $150. Don’t believe this company, better get an insurance.

Install is fairly simple, no plastic latches all over Edges are all textured and fairly thick compared to previous frames.
