I initially was a little hesitant to buy this OtterBox case because of its weight, but I am now a fan. The case fits perfectly. All of the protected buttons work perfectly and the screen protection is second to none. A very solid and well made product. The increase in bulk and weight is minimal and not even an issue. This is by far the best quality product to protect your investment. Thanks OtterBox!!!!!!

I have used Otterbox cases for my iPhones and iPads. I have had several over the years and keep going back. They are always dependable and durable. They have always kept my devices secure with no harm. I do try to take really good care of my devices, but occasionally I will drop one and the otter box has kept them safe so far. My only complaint is the plastic screen protector. I much prefer glass and as far as I am aware, you can't use a glass screen protector with this case. It seems that I always get some sort of bacterial or fungal growth underneath the plastic and I have to take it off periodically to clean it.

Cover fits and protects well. Using it everyday. Does not impede use.

Used OtterBox on both of my other iPhones. Dropped them all the time with no damage to either. It was a no brainer when it came to protecting my iPad Pro. You cant go wrong with OtterBox Defender case for protection. The flip up stand was a great and wonderful surprise as well.

Love this case.everything you could ask for in a case don't have to worry about it when my granddaughter using it. Also it has a place for your i pencil. This case will hold up your iPad for easy reading or viewing. Can't ask for any thing better. Best on the market.

Had to wait a bit for OtterBox to perfect a new Defender case for my iPad Pro 2. However, the wait was worth it. The case install was easy and it offers good protection. The unique stand for the iPad allows for several viewing angles. I found that the viewing angle works well for content watching. All the ports are accessible and the sound from the speakers is not muffled at all. The plastic that covers the iPad screen seems to work well. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

I decided to go with an Otterbox instead of a folio type case with my new iPad Pro, and I am glad I did. Great protection with the added bonus of using the hard cover as a stand with multiple positions.

This is the only case I felt offered the protection I felt necessary for my $1200 IPad Pro. It is very rugged and gives peace of mind. I only purchase Otterbox products to protect my valuable devices.

A very rugged and sturdy case. I feel confident my ipad will be safe if I drop it. The clear plastic screen protector inhibits the use of the ipad, though. You have to press really hard on the screen for the touchscreen to register your finger. I fixed this by removing the screen protector. It was glued down pretty well, so it wasn't easy, but it works much better without the screen protector. I just bought a separate screen protector to make sure my screen was safe.

This case is great for protecting your expensive purchase. Only negative would be how heavy it makes the iPad but worth the trade for keeping it safe.

As with all otterbox products especially the defender series again otterbox has made a functioning product that does what they say which is totally protects your device from damage. I’ve used otterbox defender for my phone and now for my iPad and I feel 100% confident with the protection it provides. If you want to insure your iPad is protected from dust and accidental drops, then otterbox defender is the only way to go even at the higher price.

Had my 1st Gen iPad Pro in a case since day one. I needed a new one but most I saw were for new iPad Pro, but this one fit perfectly on my 1st generation iPad Pro. It has the mic cutouts and everything. A little expensive for a product that is no longer in production, but overall great case.

I would give it 5 stars for durability and protection. Took off 1 for weight and bulk tho. Literally makes the iPad as heavy, if not slightly heavier than my laptop. Can’t win them them all

This case fits perfectly for my Ipad Pro 12.9 and doesn't hinder the screen while using a stylus. I feel it is a rugged, well made and well fitting case and while it's expensive, it's well worth the cost, for the protection of my Ipad Pro I can use the back shield as a multiple position tablet stand, and even turn the back cover over the screen when I travel to protect the screen even more. Ottercase has another winner!

This is a great otterbox product for the 12.9 inch ipad, it fits great, plus you want to protect your device from accidental damage or falls, it comes with a great case and screen protector, the price is expensive, but most otterbox protectors are a bit expensive, but great quality.

This is a good case and I feel that it protects the iPad Pro very well. However, the case does add a little weight to it. Other than the extra weight, I love the case.

This case is very protective of your device! The stand helps with being able to view it on an angle which is very helpful at times. It is very heavy though so just think about protection of the device versus it being heavy!

I read all the negative reviews and still bought it, since I’m I think otterbox makes great products — I have no idea what product the other reviews are using. My 12.9 otterbox defender case is stellar. Sound is perfect! Fit is perfect! Tiny complaint, after applying case if there’s any speck of outlying dust trying to disengage the case is tough. That is the products purpose isn’t it...

Great case and stand. Wish it came in colors. Otterbox makes outstanding products.
