Difficult to get the two piece inner case apart. Once I finally got whole case put on phone (iPhone 8) all buttons worked ok albeit with a little harder push. But the built-in screen protector really interfered with the function of the touch screen. There's a little gap between so you have to push harder to get touch screen to work. Very annoying. Total deal breaker for me. Also there's a thin plastic membrane over the home button which interferes with its function and seemed so flimsy it would tear after a few days use. Have seen this issue mentioned in reviews from various sources. Some people end up just removing the screen protector and home button cover. I didn't want to do that because it's my understanding that would invalidate the warranty. And why should I pay the relatively higher price for this case only to have to cut parts out so the phone can function properly? Ended up returning. Really too bad because otherwise I liked the case. Seemed like it would provide good drop protection. But can't say I would recommend it as is.
