With 6 yr old triplets grandsons that know how to operate my IPad better than me I need all the protection for it I can get. This does the job - just wish it wasn't so heavy in my purse.

As someone who, prior to this, had dropped their IPAD, I highly recommend this otterbox. Complete protection including the ability to clean the screen with cleaner. Love the built in stand.

This has been a great addition to my iPad. It is not to terribly heavy or bulky. I love it.

When my daughter needed a new iPad for Texas A&M Veterinary School, being her Dad, I got her a new one. I became the proud owner of a used iPad. I work Wings Over Houston Airshow every year. I used the iPad to keep airfield maps and information handy. To protect it, I bought this OtterBox Defender. It has a tendency to get knocked around a bit. The case takes the abuse, not the iPad.

great product if you are looking to turn your iPad into a tank... our 2 year old loves playing on the iPad and we were worried that he might break it. Otterbox case made the iPad very resilient to falls, spills, etc (toddler-proof). Now we can let him learn the iPad without worrying as much about it getting broken. Not super intuitive to install at first, but once you figure out how it goes on it is no problem.

This is my second Otterbox for my iPads. My kids play with these so if it's tough enough to withstand toddlers, it's tough enough for anyone to use. My kids have wiped all kinds of foods on it and a sanitizing wipe takes it all off. The screen protector is nice also. I don't notice any kind of lag or delay with the protector on. Great case! I'm just waiting for Otterbox to come out with one for the ipad air now!

i got what i ordered protection for my ipad and it was alittle pricey but it was what i needed

Otterbox is probably the best brand of case that I have used for anything. It is very very durable. I love the built in plastic screen protector. The iPad has been dropped a few times and no damage done. I even feel okay letting my small children use the iPad. Great product.

I have loved this from day that I bought. I first bought the life proof case but I didn't come with a screen protector and it recommended not to use one. So I changed it out for this one and it comes with one. It's tough enough for my two yearold. I love that I can cover the screen with added protection by putting the stand/ cover over it and get max protection. For the price I can protect my investment from damage.

This cover is easy to use and offers great protection for dropping and water.

Works Great! Protects the I-pad from a lot of abuse. also has a stand to lean it on.

My toddler son has discovered my iPad, and so I was looking for a sturdy protective cover from spills, drops, sneezes, everything. This case is incredible! While confusing on how to get the iPad in it, once it is inserted, it is fantastic! The front cover is still sensitive to finger touches, and the entire case is robust- love it! WELL worth the decent price!

I'm very please with my case, it's durable and safe from breakage.

The Otter Box is very durable and well made. It was easy to put on my iPad. The only drawback is it is pretty heavy.
