I will never buy this again and highly do not recommend

Does it’s job but need a screen protector!

If you’re anything like me you’re reading all the reviews before deciding on whether this case is worth the hype and money and if your child will destroy it after a few uses. Well my son is 9 and he has autism and can get very frustrated pretty easily and at times before he can think of what he is doing, he throws the iPad. I freak out and check the iPad and the case and the OtterBox has done it’s job! A few times! Not a scratch on the iPad whatsoever! My only “complaint” is that the gray piece on the back of the case that allows it to be attached to the back of a head rest, tends to fall off. And it fell off before my child even threw the iPad so it’s not due to him throwing it. So that is frustrating and that same piece is sometimes difficult to bend properly to set the iPad on a table to watch/use. It ends up bending back to it’s normal shape and the iPad falls. It is hard for my son to maneuver that piece but I can make it stay standing up for him so just keep that in mind if your have a toddler etc. they may need some assistance with setting it upright to use. Lastly, this is my fault, but I assumed the case had a clear piece to protect the actual front screen to the iPad but it does NOT. So we had to buy a screen protector for the front of the iPad and then put the OtterBox case on it. So make sure you buy a screen protector as well. Other than that, it is a great case and yes it is worth the money!

Plenty of room for charging cables to be connected to and have no issues plugging in. The sides of the case have a soft taper for easier handling for little kids. The back portion has a flexible stand that has a softer than normal plastic texture so you dont have to worry about scratching.

We love the handle and how it is used as a stand too. It’s super sturdy and I can trust it to protect her iPad.
