The case is very small, and very protective. This case is unlike the defender because it does not come with a screen protector and it isn't bulky. I hated the screen cover with the defender because it always got dirty and you couldn't remove it.

I had a Defender but I wanted to go lighter and have Otterbox protection. I purchased the Symmetry (in a BB exclusive color) Zagg glass protector and a leather belt pouch at BB. The case is smooth and goes easily in and out of a pocket (I prefer the belt carry though). The case fits snugly around my 5S but I'm not sure if repeated removals will stretch out the case like the Defender. Had several drops inside the house and the phone was protected and no scratches on the case. I haven't dropped it on any hard surfaces like concrete or ceramic tile (yet). Overall I am pleased with this case.

I love my OtterBox - Symmetry Case for Apple iPhone 5 and 5s - Glacier. Before purchasing this product, I had bought and cracked the covers off 3 others. Until I got this, I accidentally dropped on the ground 10x and not even a scratch to my phone or cover. I love the design, the texture, the size, and the durability.

This case is the best for both protection and not being too bulky. I still wouldn't hand it to my 2 year old and expect it survive the day, but is great for the accidental drops that can occur while dealing with said 2 year old.

This is a simple yet beautiful sleek case. Normally we buy otter box defenders but we got tired of the bulk. We got this one and zagg shield for the screen and are very satisfied with how it looks and protects.

This Otterbox case is perfect for me. The durable compact design is great. It easily fits into my pockets and doesn't slip out like my iPhone used to do before I purchased this case.

This Otter case is nice and slimmed down compared to older versions. The new Iphone 5 is a little larger and the slimmer case makes it easier to slip in and out of pockets.

My son likes this case. It protects well and isn't too bulky like the last otter box he had. Also doesn't have any rubber parts that tear after long use.

I luv this case. Its not bulky and it really protects your phone. I like the texture of the case. I bought one also for my wife.

I was told years ago that "Otterbox has the best case out there". This case is no exception. Slim, Sturdy and good looking.

Bought this to replace my good commuter case. Its even slimmer and fits better in my pocket but same great protection.

I had another otterbox case I believe it was a defender and although it was a good case I found it to be bulky. I like the sleekness of the symmetry case since I feel like I have a better grip when I hold the phone since it's not big and bulky. Overall I'm glad I got the case and it goes well with my phone.
