It lasted less than a year: the outer layer had been peeling off in chunks for months, but today the lock button piece just fell right out, rendering the lock on the phone inaccessible while the case is on.

We recommend installing the case on the right corner first. Once your camera and power buttons are in the case, move counterclockwise, and you should have an easier time installing the other three corners! Having said that, it is definitely odd to hear that your case buttons are giving you some trouble.
