When I upgraded I decided I wanted a clear case to show off the new phone's color, so I figured I'd go with the brand I trusted. Unfortunately this has been a letdown and I'm going to be returning this case as soon as the replacement arrives. I received it with scratches that are somehow between the layers of plastic - I can't feel them on the inside OR outside of the case - and it picks up fingerprints and new scratches incredibly easily. The hole for access to the mute switch is oddly positioned and a bit deep so the switch is accessible but slightly annoying. But the real reason I have to return this is that I do not understand how they are advertising this case as easy to put on and take off. I've had to have a family member do it; the case has very little bend to it and every time I try to work with it I think I'm going to break it. My phone has gotten stuck partially in and partially out several times. I've ordered a clear Tech21 case instead and am hoping that will work out better for me. While I think this Otterbox case would protect reasonably well if I dropped my phone, I can't have a case I can't get on and off my own phone. Additionally, if color isn't important to you, I do think the Commuter would offer better protection and would recommend that one from a purely functional standpoint.
