My replacement phone is a Samsung Galaxy, and LifeProof wasn't available in the store, so I got this Otterbox and a screen protector. Other than not being waterproof, it offers good protection for my new phone.

Makes a nice cover in the office when you don't want the phone to be a distraction. When on vibrate it helps keep the vibrate to a lower noise level I think. Great item to have if you need extras added like a kick stand or id pocket on the back.,

It fits well but be sure that you get the one that fits your real model of phone. In the store, they only sell the current case for the 2018 model whereas our son's phone is a 2017 model and needs the case for it, which is the one to which I am currently submitting a review.

When I did that with the old phone case, my phone shattered. Not a scratch with the Otterbox. I just wish it was a brighter color so it is easier to find.
