I purchased this by price matching the case with another local store. I would not recommend paying the retail price for this case. The case is very sturdy, but the back clear side will scratch really easily (just a fact of having a clear case.) The SPEN is somewhat blocked when taking out due to the proximity of the speaker and pen opening. Overall, I would recommend it as i use a wireless magnetic car charger and this case is thick enough to protect the phone, but also thin enough to wireless charge and hold my phone on the car charger. It also charges on most wireless charger that this phone will fit on. Side NOTE, I would also have purchased the Pursuit series for this phone if Otterbox would have made it. As i had that for my S9+ and it gave better protection, and projected the lower speaker sound back at the user without having to cup your hands.

The back of my note 9 shattered and my camera lens is cracked. I will be contacting Otterbox about this.

Clear, slim, durable, protective. Even better if you get it for $30.48 at best buy like I did!

This case is great because not only is it strong, durable, and protective, it is clear so you can also enjoy the color of the phone that you bought.

I like the case, it was good for a day one case. It didn't take get long to become discolored... I liked that I could actually see my phone, and have it protected. Doesn't work well with a lot of protectors. I've switched to the LifeProof, it's clear, and I noticed that they didn't leave the edges clear, Maybe Otterbox should move in that direction.

Purchased with shield & phone for my son who manages to drop every single phone he has had & shatter them...UNTIL NOW. He's dropped the phone and sat on it but it's holding together better than any other case/shield previously purchased for his phones. I am happy that for once this type of accessory is worth the purchase.

We always buy otterbox products for our phones. We feel like they are the most protective cases on the market. I loved that this one was clear so my limited edition color can be seen. Unfortunately this one is so tight, my shatterproof screen protector kept popping off.

(member4683998463) This item was on sale and I wanted something to protect my newly purchased Galaxy. I liked the idea of it being clear. Case fits perfectly and is a well needed added protection for 'in case' it falls. Very happy with the case and purchase.

This is a nice case. I do like the fact that it's clear so that you can see the nice styling of the phone itself through the case. However, it definitely shows every fingerprint! So far it's held up well, but I haven't really put it to an extreme "drop" test yet - I try to avoid those as much as possible!

I bought this case to replace an Otterbox Commuter case that had held up nicely until a recent drop damaged a corner (not broken but compromised to the point I was afraid it wouldn't hold up to another drop). I considered the Samsung flip case for the added screen protection but thought the cover would be in the way for everyday use and since it doesn't close securely wouldn't necessarily protect the screen in the event of a drop. I wanted a clear case to showcase the color of my phone and was able to purchase this at a reduced price. The fit is great, feels very secure and has held up to a couple of minor drops so far. The surface does show minor scratches. I don't see any issue with accessing the S-pen as mentioned in another review.

This case is awesome!! Its very protective due to the fact that it's almost impossible to find the tempered glass that fits on the new galaxies, this case has protected my phone from any damages. I've dropped my phone many times and no harm had been done.

Just bought the Galaxy Note 9, although I dont like cases I know I needed one because I use my phone at the gym and many other outdoor events (hiking, son's sports games, work). I went with the clear Otterbox Commuter case because I like to see the Blue phone back. All my buttons are accessible, if there is a draw back it would be my S-pen is harder to get to (I have pretty big hands though). The case fits perfectly so let your screen cove dry well before popping on the case. Also you cannot reach the expendable memory slot with the case on. Very strong and durable, definitely worth the money to keep my phone safe.

She carries her phone to all her meetings and this case provides excellent protection from occasional accidents. The clear version allows her to see the color of her phone and easily identify it. Great Product and easy to snap on.

This case is very durable and will protect your phone. My only complaint is after owing the case for a long time, the edges will get discolored and no longer look clear; instead it will start to look brown.

What can I say it's an OtterBox case. They make great cases that not only protect your phone but hold up to everyday use as well.

I like the fact this cover has the bumper guards on the corners. It is a crystal clear cover too. But, the cons out weigh this.. It was almost next to impossible to get it on my Note 9. I struggled because it was as if I was putting it into a concrete shell. Yes, I know this is the type of cover it is. But, I was worried about my buttons on my phone getting damaged. Also, it came with a few scratches on it (had to have it ordered online by salesperson), but I can live with those. Once on, now my buttons and S-pen are virtually impossible to access because the side is so thick. I have to press so hard to get the buttons for anything on my cell to operate (forget it if I try to take a screenshot!), and I have to angle my finger the right way just to get my S-Pen out. And, the rubber backing feels more like glass, it does not grip to surfaces at all. I won't bother returning it, that is more of a headache. So, I'll use it until I get sick of it. So, this is a good cover for clarity on the back of your cell to show off your brilliant color of your cell, and in case you drop your cell a lot. Otherwise, nah!

Just bought a Note 9 and needed to protect it. Was looking for a slim, clear tough case and this is the one. This is my first Otterbox case and will definitely purchase many more in the future.
