So, at a retail price of $40 or $50 depending on the model phone you’re buying a symmetry OtterBox for, the prices are a little steep. However, if you are able to pick it up on sale as I was able to buy These - then these cases are absolutely awesome. They are thick enough to help protect your camera, come up on the edge enough to help protect the edges, and they’re no where near as thick as a defender. They still give you really good corner and edge protection of your entire device… considering the average user throws away or never uses the clip that comes with a defender anyway, and many people even pop out the plastic screen in a defender and replace it with tempered glass, this just makes more sense, and it saves a lot of unnecessary headaches.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 plus, is the culmination of the innovations made and lessons learned through the evolution on the Galaxy family of phones. I started with the 3 then the 6 active, and now this. The battery life is incredible, haven't been clocking it, but having to keep in mind when to charge it, rarely crosses my mind anymore. Because even with the heavy App and data use I put this thing through it seems unphased. Removable/upgradable storage! Incredible image, and the infinity screen is flawless. I don't necessarily like, how they have positioned the volume control, compared to it's placement on the 6 active, but it really doesn't take away from the phone overall. The speed of this device and the OS has to be mentioned. Very, very fast, and snappy. Uninstalling is almost instantaneous, uploading, downloading, or transferring files is only throttled by you network connection or data plan. The device will not be the reason for any long waits. The fingerprint scanner is very user friendly, and not gimmicky. It actually works, without you having to stop and carefully align your print to match. Fantastic sound and video quality. Finally, more impressive than all of the other great features this phone has, the best of all has got to be the camera. Pro level device, check out some of the auto mode comparisons on Youtube, side by side with the Pixel, and high end DSLR cameras. I still think the Pixel in auto mode may have a slight advantage over the in some photo situations, no other camera is worth even mentioning in the same conversation. But with that being said, when you add all of the other great things S8 has packaged into it with a camera of this caliber....no competition in the current market. This is the best. I wouldn't worry about a "lemon" situation either, I purchased 4 of these for my family around the same time, and everyone is equally pleased. Get one!

This a great case. I like the clear back. It was hard to find a clear cover. All the ones I found were either cloudy clear or foggy. It is light weight and fits perfect on my phone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is very hard to press the buttons on the side with this cover. I struggle alot when trying to take screenshots, adjusting the volume and with pretty much everything that requires the use of the side buttons.

I like the fact that this case is not bulky which keeps more to the true width of the phone, front to back, and it is easy to get on and off of my phone. Since I have a pop socket attached to it, I can't wirelessly charge the phone with the case on. I have only been using the case for about a week and so far so good. I like that it is clear and I can see the back of my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus which is the grey/purple color.

This case works well and offers decent protection as long as you pair it with a screen protector. Buttons are difficult to press at times but should get easier over time.

The case does what its supposed to do. Doesn't get much better than an OtterBox case. Does add a fair amount of thickness but the protection is top notch.

It's an Otterbox, what else can I say! It's the only brand of cover that I have used and I like the fact that it allows you to see the color of the phone.

The fit on the phone is great but there are some casting edges that make it uncomfortable to hold. Overpriced really.

Otterbox always has great cases that really do protect well. I actually dropped it and it absorbed the shock. However it has some issues. One, I'd prefer something that covers the screen. Second, the case doesn't surround the screen enough, the top of the glass sticks out past the protection of the case. Lastly its slippery to hold at times. Needs a rubber coating so it can be held easier.

I got this locally after price matching Amazon. It's a good case but it's started to scratch already. It adds just the right amount of protection though.

I love the color of this protector and how I can still see my phone. For being an Otterbox product it's not too bulky and doesn't add too much thickness to my phone. It fits great and doesn't cover up the edges of the screen. My only complaint is it's pretty difficult to press the buttons on the sides bc it's a little rigid, but I'm hoping with more and more use it gets more flexible.

Good protective case in clear allows to see the color of the phone my child chose and yet still offers the protection I want. Its a win win

I had the old commuter case on my old phone and loved. Love this case, mainly cause it isn't bulky and still protects phone from accidental drops.

Otterbox symmetry works well for galaxy S8+ protection. Works well with wireless charges. No need to remove case.Highly recommend.

The otterbox slim symmetry case is a must have for the samsung 8+ phone. The phone is well protected & still fits into my pocket.
