I bought this cover for my son's new Galaxy 8. It was easy to install and has offered great coverage for his phone. It does not have a built in screen protector so we bought a tempered glass one to put on the phone before we put the Otterbox on. He has dropped the phone a couple of times and it has not broken yet.

I’ve tried other brands of protective cases for many phones. Otter box is still the best. This particular style is minimal but still provides solid protection.

Good protection, although screen is not protected, lightweight, easy to carry & hold

I bought this case with plans to return it one my case I ordered from Amazon came in. To my surprise I liked it better. The glitter is a cute touch but the lip depth is what sold me. I hate clunky cases but I fear cracking my screen. So far it's got the biggest lip on the top and bottom.

This Otterbox case is not to bulkie and not too slim. It also isn't too expensive so you are getting the best Bang for your buck to protect your phone.

I am not into flashy color cases and wanted a clear but effective case for my Galaxy S8. This case is perfect and has saved my phone from a few drops.

This case fits perfectly, disappears in your hand when you pick up your phone. The curved edges are easily accessible with this product. Love it!

Purchased this recently. The case is well supportive yet slim. Luckily I haven’t dropped my phone yet but it appears that it’ll support it well.

This is a slim case that protects most of the phone. It does not protect the screen.

My son likes the phone case and I like it even more like the idea that it protects his phone and it looks very stylish and not bulky at all

This case is great, I have dropped my phone numerous times and it has protected it each time. It is slim which is great for pocketability.

I've never owned a symmetry series Otterbox, but this one suffices for our needs.

I love the way this case looks and feels, I love being able to see the color of my phone through the case. However, I dropped my phone on my kitchen table (not a far drop) and my phone popped right out of it! I have no idea why it did that but I don't really trust it anymore. I will keep it as a "just in case" case if my current one ever breaks. But I won't be using it as my reliable case.

The otterbox symmetry for the Galaxy S8 is just the right fit. Its not to bulky like some of the phone cases and works great. LOVE IT

My wife wanted an otterbox commuter like I have but did not want the rubber covers on the bottom, works great and looks good as well.

This is my first otter box, and honestly I only bought it because of the glitter! It is great quality and fits my S8 perfectly, but the buttons are extremely hard to push, especially the side lock/ unlock button. I typically just use the button on screen to unlock and just wait for the screen to time out for it to lock. If buttons were easier I would give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Otterbox cases have always been durable for my smartphones. This one is no exception. I like that it's not bulky as the others.

I always used to associate Otterbox with max phone protection. This Symmetry case makes me think twice about that. Maybe if you were to drop your phone 100 times, this case would protect it 99 of those times. However, for me it only took the phone falling out of my pocket once. Phone fell about 2 feet landing on the corner of the case and shattering the display. Maybe it's the case's lack of protection or maybe I was just unlucky. Either way, I won't be using this case with my repaired S8. Case fits the phone well and offers adequate grip, but it, like many cases for the S8 family, does not protect the fragile display adequately. It's also expensive given its one piece molded construction and access to the fingerprint sensor is slightly compromised. It appears that most case manufacturers, including Otterbox, were more concerned with showing the curved display than protecting it. Looking at the entire Otterbox line for the S8, all leave the curved edge exposed. Note that I had a Zagg screen protector installed, too, when the phone dropped. If you buy an S8, consider a protection plan. It's obviously fragile.
