This was the only case available, due to low stock availability, that was transparent. However, I don't like the frosted sides and due to the back scratching so easily (within a couple of days) I replaced it with a case from an online retailer.

The case has no soft spots for holding the phone and it has a fridge around it that actually cuts into my hands when I hold the phone.

I haven't tested it's drop capability but it definitely doesn't feel as protected as the previous Defender models with the built-in screen and the external rubber case.
