Posted .Hello Floyd! While we do test a number of different charging cables to be compatible with our cases, we cannot guarantee every charger is compatible with our case.

We’re happy to send a new OtterBox product under our product warranty, but we are unable to extend our warranty to the device itself, as we are not the manufacturer. Horrible customer service when I called to report the incident.

It exposes the edge of the phone and dropping it on the corner of an object on that exact spot could damage the phone. Not to mention your hand fits in this gap while typing so it’s super uncomfortable when using your phone. How did Otterbox have this big of a miss while all their competitors don’t have this cut out?
