I use it when watching a movie with the lights in the room dimmed down . I can view anything I am reading without iluminating the whole room. Nice that it is cordless. The battery holds a charge pretty well.The magnifing glass side is for up close use .

I love that it can adjust the brightness but the negative about this lamp is that a full charge only lasted for 1-2 hours of use. Overall it’s still a “BEST BUY” from Best Buy!1

I purchased a power bank charger which allows 6-8 hours of illumination.
