Great product for home security. We have set all of our cameras up for outdoor use ... disappointed that we had to order additional mounts and wiring to do this after we received our Arlo product. Wish there was an option to order for indoor or outdoor setup when you chose your product. Other than that very happy with ease of set up and quality of product.

It works just as described. Just make sure you charge your Arlo camera before hard wiring & with the appropriate included accessory adapters & your set to go. Now I don't have Drag out the latter every 3 weeks to a month to charge the battery. One thing others have said, Arlo should have a choice of white or black cabe to go along with color of your home. Everything is white with Arlo like there cameras & mounting hardware & such, why not the cable, odd. Come late spring or summer I'll spray paint lightly the cable a flat matt white. The cable should be more then just 8ft it should be 10 to 12ft. So far so good.

Very happy with camera works great and I feel very secure in my house with it and the various sensors it has like person, vehicle, animal detected.

It does what it is supposed to do... so long as you have a plug very close to where you want to mount the camera. It is really a shame the cord is so short, as it does work well if it reaches.

Had to order this outdoor cable for my Arlo Pro 2 Camera. I previously had my camera plugged in outside with the cable that game in its box. But after days of rain the cable didn’t work anymore. Now with this new outdoor cable I have no problem at all, very durable and great quality. Just went through it’s first storm and works perfectly.

Great product and easy to hook up. Keeps you off the ladder and safe since you don't have to worry about the battery.

The cord works well and seals tightly to prevent any water getting in. I just wish it was longer.

Although I purchased this for a particular camera, I have not been able to use it there because of so much snow. So I have been using it at other cameras which need charged. And it works great! I may get more so I do not have to take the camera down, charge it and put it back up. I could use solar chargers but the price difference is a lot. If I have nearby power, I will probably use these chargers.

Works great with no connection issues. Firmly attaches to the camera with a water tight connection and a small bracket over the plug to keep it locked in place. Would go with the Arlo product on this one as many of the 3rd party manufacturers have compatibility issues

The Outdoor Power Adapter is a must-have for Arlo users. The busy areas of the home require the adapter or I would have to change and charge the batteries every month.

I travel a lot and having these cameras plugged in works a lot better for me not having to risk the battery power. This is a very nice plug and keeps the water out.

This is the only outdoor adapter sold by Arlo and is always out of stock. With that said, it works perfectly and seems to be great quality.

I was impressed with the bracket(s) that I received in the packaging to secure and weather shield the plug from the elements! Far higher quality than some of the clones I've purchased online.

We purchased this for one of our cameras in a more active area because without direct wire the battery for the camera would drain down quickly and also you cannot set up activity zones if on wifi.

I would definitely recommended this wire charger. It is way better than climbing a ladder every other month or less to charge the battery. Just plug it in and go.

This is good to keep camera charged but when always plugged in the camera seems to freeze and not record everything. Hoping to contact customer support to take care of this problem. Will update after that. I was able to put them though the bottom of a widow so that’s was a plus. The widow still locks.

This adapter makes it possible for me to run my Arlo camera off AC power. I don't have to constantly take the camera down to charge it.

This is the newer version of the outdoor power cable and adapter for Arlo Pro2. The mini USB connector fits snug and seal tight against moisture and rain. Excellent quality.

I swapped my solar panel for this power adapter as I kept having branches cover/move my solar panel. This thing works great in my high traffic area and adds the ability to create activity zones which I love. Only wish it came in white to better blend in with the camera and my house.

The best way to power your ARLO cams in high traffic areas to avoid low batteries.
