We have used wyze cams for about 4 years not and not I'm mad we waited this long to get the pan cam! We have 2 of the original amd one og but this one is by far the best. The waypoints make it easy to keeo n eye in the whole room for a little bit more peace of mind. It was fairly easy ti set up though Not near as simple as the others where you could just set them down or put them on a magnet plate. All together this as been the best camera wyze has yet to put out and perfect for budget friendly.

I had been using Ring for my security cameras but after having issues with them all the time, i gave Wyze a try. This little camera is pretty awesome and comes packed with a lot of features. Sure, to fully make use of it you need to have a paid subscription but, it is incredibly affordable and they give you a month free to try it out. Switching to this brand wasn’t just the obvious choice, it was the Wyze one as well.

Had the previous model of WYZE Pan Scan Camera. Worked great for 7 years before it went belly up. Only paid 25 dollars for it. So I got my moneys worth. This new one was 30 dollars. So lets see how long it lasts!

I use these cameras because I cannot wire in normal security cameras; I only need a long USB and power. I have also used these extensively for people who have a loved one in a nursing facility or care home, as long as it only observes them and with a sign saying it is there, so no one can claim it is an invasion of privacy, etc. You would be surprised by how much solace and peace of mind it brings to them, and even if they cannot get to see them, they can look into them. Because they can use an SD card it keeps some basic history.

I bought mine from BB on clearance, so the price was ESPECIALLY right at $11.50... great features and quality. The only downsides are the app for Android (you can tell it was built for iPhone and not ported very well) and the advertisements every other screen for their Cam Plus paid subscription.

What a convenient little device! Panning works better than expected, and the color night vision is on point (when it chooses to use it, no complaints) It does pick up the IR from my ring doorbell that I'll switch to Wyze soon, so there's a weird hot spot on the video, but that's fine!
Wish it supported homekit video though
