This is Tenth Avenue North's debut album in the CCM world. They started strong. This CD has moving music with earnest lyrics that any introspective follower of Jesus Christ can relate to. In my opinion, the best tracks are, "By Your Side," "Beloved," and "Hold My Heart," both outstanding songs. What moves me is not only the technical perfection of these recordings in the pop/rock/inspirational medley of genres, but also the raw earnestness of the singers, who lift these prayer-like Psalms before the Father. They are deep, real, and doctrinally sound. Christians go through doubts, fears, and worries, but rest on the sure assurance that, no matter what we feel, or what has happened to us, we are eternally safe, secure, and loved in the hands of a gracious, patient Father who has sent His son to die for our sins. Some songs I liked more than others, and there is only one that I sort of turn my nose up at (break me down), only because I felt that its production was rushed, and it wasn't as melodic as the others. In this CD you will find great music, and great hope, for believers and unbelievers alike. We all need grace, and all are on a journey. Tenth Avenue North wants to share theirs with you.

If you are wanting to discover something new in Christian Rock/Worship, then Tenth Avenue North is it! This guys have the ability to be the next big thing on your radio! With catchy songs, and strong vocals... every song on this album could be a radio single. Love Is Here is powerful, but not even my favorite on the album. If you are looking to explore a new band, definetly buy this one! If you like: Mercy Me, David Crowder, Jars of Clay, Santus Real - you will like this.

Heard "By Your Side" for the first time last week on KSBJ in Houston. Then I got the CD and read the lyrics. WOW! I don't remember a song or a CD that ever moved me to tears. This CD plays like a letter from God himself. Without a doubt "By Your Side" will get "Song of the Year" and this is a strong candidate for "Album of the Year." Get 2 copies and give one to a friend or a stranger.

This album is by far one of the best albums I have ever owned. I bought the album for 2 songs, By Your Side and Hold My Heart. I was not dissapointed with the rest of the album which is the case with most albums. I listen to the album everyday while working. Easy listening with a great message.

I love this CD! I found Tenth Avenue North a few months ago before their CD came out. I fell in love with the song, Love is Here. I absolutly LOVE this CD! The lyrics are so great, and they have a great sound. I can't wait for their next CD!
