    A film about a father and son getting to know each other and coming together. Stallone as a truck driver. On the way to an arm wrestling competition. Its endearing and has a great soundtrack. A must watch for father and sons out there.

    Totally '80's Great movie from bitd. Took me back. Over the Top is a 1987 American sports drama film starring Sylvester Stallone. It was produced and directed by Menahem Golan, and its screenplay was written by Stirling Silliphant and Stallone. The original music score was composed by Giorgio Moroder. The main character, Lincoln Hawk/Hawks, played by Stallone, is a long-haul truck driver who tries to win back his estranged son, Michael, while becoming a champion arm wrestler.

    This Stallone film doesn't always get the credit it deserves, which may be why blu-ray copies aren't the easiest to find. I had been searching for a while on amazon for a cheap copy that looked in great shape, and I'm glad I never found one....until I came across Best Buy. This package is new and has the best artwork I have seen on the case, compared to the other copies. This blu-ray is priced extremely well, coming in under $10. Thank you Best Buy!

    Absolutely love this movie! Arm wrestling and semi trucks, plus a father and son story, how can you go wrong?

    Over the top with Sylvester Stallone it was a very good movie to watch. He had got the chance to meet his son and drive him back home. It was one of the greatest movies I would most definitely recommend this movie to everyone to watch.

    One of my favorite Stallone movies. I can't believe it is still not available in 4k. I would definitely recommend this movie. If you even say you like Stallone, do yourself a favor and add this movie to your collection.

    Was a good story about a father, who walked out on his son, and the boy‘s mother wanted him to be with his father doing the time she was going to have surgery, but she dies the boy learns the truth, and wants to be his father.

    Classic Stallone at his best in this 80’s movie that tells the story of a fathers struggle to bond with the 12 year old son he abandoned years early and the sons struggle to forgive him.
