A classic rom com and a great vehicle for Goldie and Kurt

My wife and I love this movie. After all these years it still holds up for us. This movie is most definitely entertaining. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn bring to life these two characters and the whole plot is brilliant. It is not snobbish, it is simple; it is not rude and yet filled with funny things. I have seen this movie many times, from when it was first out to when we had it in DVD and now streaming. A good one to see if you want to have a good time. Thank you.

This is the first Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell movie that paired this adorable couple. Their relationship continues to this day. The plot is hysterical, the acting great and the humor original and non-stop. I had to replace my oft-viewed vhs tape with an almost indestructible dvd disc so I could continue to re-play and watch the fun of 2 actors enjoying their work and each other.

I'll probably watch that version BUT I'm already partial to this version. You will be too. Very bare bones version is still worth buying. Great price too. Enjoy!

It's true in most cases. The original is better than the remake. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are perfect in their roles. Goldie plays the ultimate snob and Kurt a regular working stiff. Goldie has an accident and loses her memory and Kurt takes advantage of the opportunity. A fun cast of characters support the story. And the kids Kurt has to deal with makes a crazy home life.

It's an oldie but goody. It's funny there are children in it but it's for adults if kids are watched some explanations will be required. I purchased it because my other copy got scratched. this is one of my fave Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn movies that I watch once a year he's also pretty funny in Captain Ron.

This is a cute and funny movie to watch. We enjoyed watching it again since it came out in the 80's.

Best Buy is an excellent store. From the time of purchase to delivery and installation of a dryer, I was more than pleased. I went through a nightmare with Sears on the delivery of the same dryer. It was so bad, I cancelled the order and re-purchased the dryer at Best Buy. No problems.

I remember this movie fondly and was excited to be able to add it to my collection at the sale price.

This movie is reminiscent of classic comedies of the 60's. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have amazing chemistry, but so many funny moments you will laugh out loud. Goldie learning how to be a homemaker is priceless, and she does the physical comedy so well. This movie flows continuously from beginning to end. It does not lag in any part. It is a keeper, and a good addition to any collection.

This is my all-time favorite Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn movie I love the fact that this movie is now in hd The only downfall is they did not have very many special features but if you are a fan of overboard this should be a must own in your collection.

When I first saw this movie years ago I loved it. When I saw the great price that best buy had it for I brought it. I watched it that same night and still love the movie. It is a great movie and it makes for a great movie night.

Just watched Overboard again for about the 50th time. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are hilarious in this movie. if you want to escape for awhile, watch this ... best line in the movie "it's a "h..l" of a day at sea sir"

Hard to believe amnesia would cause a million heitess to forget money. But that is the plot. Will love coquet all? Will Goldie live the rest of her life with Kurt "Snakes" Russel? We all know the answer " Snake we thought you Dead" . I hear alot of that. Same plot different ending and more entertaining.

One of my wife's favorite movies so a great Christmas gift.

Much better than the remake. Cute romantic comedy.

When snooty Goldie Hawn stiffs carpenter Kurt Russell for his work then falls overboard (hence the title) and loses her memory he decides to take revenge by claiming to be her husband. It this movie you see how much these two truly love each other in real life. Fun fun times.

I was very happy that best buy had this DVD for sale and at a decent price!! I have been looking for this particular movie for a while, so when I got it at best buy it made my day!! Love the old movies!!!

This movie has always been one of my favorite comedies . It's heartfelt and it's no wonder Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are still together , they have great chemistry . It's very cute and funny . Good for the whole family
