There are fewer and fewer games designed to gather people together and have them help each other in order to win. This isn't a if-I-win-then-you-lose game. This is a let'-all-help-each-other win and succeed game. In my view, it is a terrific family game (and is one of the very few video games my family will play together). I love how is fosters teamwork and delegation and support from one another.
Now, compared fo Overcooked 1, this game has excellent additions and challenges. The additions (one of them being a way to throw food to others) is superb. Plus, online co-operative play is an new addition...but I would argue that while a nice option, the game is far more enjoyable to do with others in the same room.
This is a video game that can be recommended without reservation!

We love the original Overcooked so we bought Overcooked! 2. It is a great game, just as the first one. A group of friends can play the game together and enjoyed the time of fun. New recipes are amazing. The new edition is a little bit easier to pass through the levels, which is not a bad thing. However, the 'secret' 4-star goals that get unlocked when all levels are passes are extremely difficult to achieve and that keeps us playing the game for long time. The new 'throw' option is a lot of fun too.
Overall, it's a good game for the entire family!

Totally love the new features! They’re able to toss food across and sprint. Every level was enjoyable in playing. After achieving 3 stars in each level, the game automatically put a fourth star to achieve. I haven’t been able to get it playing by myself but maybe with 3 or 4 players it can work.

If you've played Overcooked then you know what to expect. This one is great, I especially love the surf n turf expansion. I will say that, in general, Overcooked 2 is much easier than the first one, my wife & I didn't have to try nearly as hard to get all 3 stars in each level. At that point, a 4th star can be achieved in each level and THAT is challenging!!

Got this game to play after visiting family and playing the original overcooked. Looked for the original, but it was no longer available and this was on sale. There are some improvement over the original that the kids had trouble and didn't like playing the original anymore. Great for learning teamwork and having fun.

WHOOOP WHOOOP! The only game my wife actually wants to play with me. I'm screaming "I NEED MORE MEAT BABE"!!! Meanwhile she's screaming at me for not washing the dishes. It's like our real life but now we get POINTS!

I got this to play with my wife and she loved it. We are laughing it up as we play. There is a slight learning curve mostly dealing with learning where the buttons are on the controller but once you get the hang of it, you'll have a blast. Supports 1-4 players.

If you want a rare co-op multi player game for the family this is a worthy addition. It is fun but don't expect to play beyond 30 minutes or so because it will feel repetitive. I still do recommend especially if your not the type to sit and play for hours.

This game is fun for all ages, you can play tons of characters, and it’s hilarious because it’s so frustrating and silly. Definitely requires a lot of communication and teamwork to get good scores. Hard to get three stars on lots of levels.

If you enjoyed the first game I think it's safe to say you will love part 2. The gameplay has evolved so that you can now toss food to your teammates and it makes a huge difference. Grab a friend because co-op is really where it's at.

Like the first one, I'm not a fan of playing this solo. But with 2 or more people it's a blast. You really wanna test a friendship then play this with 4 people and trying running these kitchens haha game overall is tons of fun

My only complaint is that you can only be truly successful with 4 players. It's difficult to play with any less people. Otherwise, a true family game where kids of all ages can play with the adults.

Found the first one at the library by chance and loved it. This game is fun for all ages. We bought Overcooked 2 as soon as it came out since we loved the first one so much.
