I hadn't even heard of this movie until I saw it on sale at BB during Black Friday. I got it just to add to the collection, and was pleasantly surprised by the action, story, and thrill of it. Plus I love WW2 movies in any fashion.

Overlord is a fascinating mix of history and fantasy. Another great example of what can happen when man gets involved with things he should never get involved in. The special effects are great and serve the story...

I wasn’t sure about this movie when I first saw the preview, thinking all the cool stuff was right there...in the preview. I was wrong. Great movie that I can’t wait to watch again. Great FX, great storyline, and a solid cast of characters.

If you like to be entertained, thrilled and taken on a ride by your films there is a good job this one will do the trick. It is really well made and the story is good enough to keep you hooked in between the action. A very nice surprise.

This a fun action movie based during WWII. The audio is very well done, the opening scene sounds incredible. Story wise is pretty solid as well. Nothing mind blowing but a fun weekend watch with some solid gore

When I bought this one; I was hoping that it wasn't just another shoot'em up good guy vs. bad buy "B" movie. Turned out that this movie was better than most. Still not a blockbuster movie; but, worth the buy.

This movie feels like a Call of Duty Video game. Starts out straight military then turns into a sort of zombie movie. Pretty simple straight forward movie at first and then turns into something completely different. JJ does it again!

I went into this movie thinking I was going to be watching something scary. The beginning is tense, but scary or not this movie rocked! Violent action with an original plot that kept me glued to the awesome 4k picture the whole ride!

I saw the ads for Overlord and really expected a gore/bore fest. it was actually well put together and a very enjoyable film. It almost feels like a true war movie for a while. Excellent movie!

This was a fun movie. I am not the biggest fan of horror movies but this had a lot going for it. The idea behind the monsters is not new but the way that idea was presented in the story was and it was fun.

Watched this movie with my wife who really did not care for it. I, on the other hand, enjoyed it for the most part. Like a number of movies out there, it had it's slow spots. Enjoyed the special effects.

Has a good beginning with good humor at appropriate times, starts bringing action almost immediately and then spins you into some sentimental road. From the middle of the movie to the end it gets more gruesome and suspenseful!

This movie is unlike any other WWII flick I’d ever seen. It’s got everything you’d ever want: zombies, war, and guns. It reminds me very much of Doom and Wolfenstein except it’s a movie and not a game. Give this film a try.

Overlord's Dolby Atmos soundtrack can be summarized in a single word: bonkers. The track is a delight of sonic mayhem, stage expansion and extension, potent bass, and intensely and insanely fun full-stage saturation. Every action scene is a delight, cranking up the sonic mayhem and making full use of every speaker in the configuration, including the subwoofer, to paint a chaotic picture of wartime insanity. Right from the outset on the plane full of paratroopers, the track struts its stuff, which includes engine hum and interior rattle and eventually features bullets ripping through the plane's bottom half, explosions popping all around the aircraft, screaming men, all variety of wartime chaos that the track introduces and executes with startling precision, placement, and clarity. Such holds true for every shootout throughout the film and particularly in the film's climactic action scene. Every inch of the stage is filled with perfectly defined and carefully placed sound details that instantly and fully draw the listener into the battles and environments, where every shot, scream, crash, bang, and bullet slam find their proper, harmoniously balanced place. Overhead speakers are mostly folded in rather than discretely used, though some loudspeaker announcements do offer some nice and obviously positioned overhead usage. "Reserved" is not in this track's vocabulary, though lighter support effects do help better define various scenes when the action isn't front-and-center. Musical clarity and stage saturation are terrific and dialogue is clear and detailed from its natural front-center position. This is a reference quality track from start to finish.

Ever the oppressive efforts used during the second world war were intended for world domination. Unfortunately the weakest were the first to be sacrificed and the few elites were the ones to benefit.

As if ww2 wasn't bad enough with Germans trying to take over the world. U got a real problem with zombie Germans trying to take over the world. Creepy, gory, overall a solid watch.

A little slow moving at first but with most action adventure is they have to have some sort of plot or story even though minimal I recommend the movie it was good to bad it was not in 4K

Call of duty style with zombie in a action movie !!! This movie is intense from beginning to end. The audio is AMAZING. Well recommend if you like intense action you'll Loved it. Not a dull moment in the movie.

This movie is very well done. The action scenes work great and the casting is also very good. There's something about the movie that makes it fun to watch again and watching it in 4k is fantastic.

This movie went from a 10 to an 8 to a 10 down to a 6 to a 10 again. It had everything here though. Great Atmos, and visuals, terror, war, everything. Would definitely watch it again.
