I've used this for a couple of weeks and it's been great. It helps us sleep more soundly knowing if anything is not ok with our little one we'll be alerted immediately.
This sock fits nicely and is very easy to put on and take off. It must be comfortable because it has not changed the little one's sleeping pattern at all. After the first couple nights they actually started asking for it.
We like the sock most of all for when they're sick. My biggest concern is when they're all stuffed up that they'll breath clearly enough to get a good nights sleep. This sock helps us know they're sleeping well by showing their blood O2 levels and giving us a breakdown of their night when they're sleeping deeply or light.
The camera works well. My only 2 gripes with it are it doesn't have a seperate monitor so you're supposed to used you phone. The picture is therefore very clear, but it's not always convenient to have to pull it up on your phone. The second gripe is there is a bright blue light on the front of the camera that is so bright is actually illuminates the little one. I couldn't find a way to turn it off so we covered it with tape, but it seems like an interesting choice to put that bright of a light on the front of the camera
Overall I would highly recommend this for anyone who isn't sleeping well because they're worried, or anyone who wants more data on how they're baby is sleeping. It works well and the 'alarms' from the base unit are loud enough they'll definitely wake you up. I know it's worth it to me to sleep better knowing they're sleeping soundly.

The Owlet Dream Duo Baby Monitor is a sophisticated device that packs in a lot of great features for a biometric and monitoring setup. As a new father to a 6-week baby boy, this has helped my wife and I get a lot of peace of mind (and sleep) back in our lives.
The package the setup comes in is compact and sleek, making it easy to store away in a closet in case you want to move on from it after your child grows up or want to switch to the latest model. On the outside, it quickly hits on the key metrics you'd want from a baby monitor / biometric package, like oxygen, room temp, pulse rate, and so forth.
Setting up the camera and sock are really easy to set up. It is no different than setting up any other piece of smart technology such as an Alexa or Hatch. It is done all through an application on your phone. The interface of the application is really clear to understand and easy to navigate through, so you are able to quickly check on your baby.
The camera does a really strong job of capturing the environment of where your baby is. The microphone monitoring and 1080p camera are super clear, and complement the phone application nicely and make it easy to get peace of mind. The night vision mode allows you to spot their eyes to confirm if they are sleeping or not. Our baby is a very loud and active sleeper, so it really helped us decipher if he needed to be checked on or not.

I recently used the Owlet Dream Duo while helping care for my newborn niece, and it quickly became one of those products you don’t realize you need until you have it. Getting it up and running was surprisingly easy. The app guided me through everything step by step, and both the camera and smart sock paired without any trouble. Within minutes, we were up and running and ready for bedtime.
What I appreciated most was how effortless it was to use once everything was connected. The live readings of her oxygen level and heart rate updated smoothly in the app, and the app made it easy to check on her at a glance. The camera quality was sharp, even in low light, and the sound came through clearly. The alerts were gentle but reliable, enough to catch your attention without feeling overwhelming.
Most of all, it gave me and my wife a sense of ease. Being able to keep an eye on her well-being without constantly walking in to check made everything feel less stressful. The Dream Duo really delivers on its promise: simple to operate, accurate, and incredibly reassuring for anyone caring for a newborn.

The Owlet Dream Duo has been such an amazing device for the little one in our home. Our daughter being a new parent has been stressful for the whole home, but the Owlet has really provided her peace of mind, which has been a relief for all of us. We all rest easy knowing that little one is being monitored when we are not in the room while they are sleeping or even napping during the day. We also have the option to view them on camera if we are worried or even curious, which is an extra peace of mind on top of the monitoring and all the sleep data we receive from the app. Overall setup of the system was a breeze and within minutes we were up and running. The sock is very comfortable and the baby doesn't even notice it being on their foot which makes this device that much easier to use. I love that we can use the camera on more than one device, and that the app is so easy to use for everyone in the house so that we can all benefit. Overall the Owlet Dream Duo has been the best gadget we have had for parenting and we highly recommend it to anyone with a baby in the home.

This is Owlet’s 3rd generation Dream Duo package that includes a baby monitor and a sock for additional monitoring. You can buy the monitor and the sock separately in case you already have a monitor or baby wearable that you like. If you plan to get both of these, this Dream Duo package will save you a few bucks.
The Dream Sight camera took quite a few tries to pair to the Owlet app. Finally, after a couple of factory resets, we got it connected. The camera has alerts for crying, sound and motion detection. Each of these can be turned on/off, or further configured based on sensitivity slider. You can also set time between notifications so that you’re not bombarded with alerts, for example, when the baby starts crying. There is also a way to use the app to stream sound from the camera if you want to use it like an old-fashioned baby monitor, say on an extra tablet or phone.
The Dream Sock is the pricer of the two if purchased separately. Unlike the camera, the sock only works on 2.4 GHz wifi. I think the most useful feature is the ability to track your baby’s quality of sleep, i.e., deep vs light sleep. If your baby does not get enough deep sleep, for example, you can expect a lot of crankiness the next day. If you have a healthy baby that does not require any special attention, the sock is likely overkill. But if you’re a nervous parent, then the sock provides some “insurance” that you’re child is ok.
