I bought this to use with my tv, for added protection. I have had no problems with it and would buy again.

if you have ever been in the situation where lightning is flashing across the sky and you suddenly ask yourself - "Did i turn my computer off and what will happen to it if I get a power surge" -well, this is what this little item is for...you can relax a little knowing that should lightning decide to try and strike your precious and probably very costly computer (or anything you value and that is electrical), before you can get to the power off switch, lets just say, this is a lot cheaper to replace than said electrical item. We did in fact have such an event not long after we purchased this protector, and nothing happened to anything, other than the generator had to do some work for a few minutes. it did its job, life carried on, no tears spilled, no warranties having to be cashed in. it works. Thank goodness.

So far it's doing its job. Most especially this last few weeks we are getting a lot of electric surge due to snow storm.

Great product for the money and equipment is protected excellent for 4k tv

I spoke to a Best Buy salesperson about this. Evidently this is a pretty high end surge protector. I hear about other brands that are "more affordable" but chose this because of the great reviews on it. I want to protect my investment of all my entertainment center devices.

After a lot of contemplating and reading information online about the importance of power conditioners for my a/v system, I decided to give it a try. As soon as I plugged everything in and turned it on, I instantly noticed an improvement in sound and video quality. The audio improvement was more noticeable. I bought a new Samsung Series 8, a Bose Solo, and an Onkyo receiver, then hooked it all up with a PS2, PS3, PS4, Wii U, SNES, N64, Gamecube, AppleTV, and a modem, and recently added an SNES Classic and a Switch. You better believe I'm gonna invest in a solid surge protector! The surge protector itself is great, alternating outlets on top and on the side of the unit, giving you plenty of space for bulky plugs. It also has optional wall mounts if you want to anchor it (or just get it off of the floor). Definitely the best I've bought to date.
