I bought this after swearing off low-priced, buy at your own risk microwave ovens like the Magic Chef I bought that lasted less than three months before breaking down. The Panasonic has so far worked very well. The reason I took one star off is because it is bit noisy when running.

Has simple to use and useful features, such as popcorn, keep warm, variable power and defrost.

Good size, has all the options, easy to clean, good looking peace of kitchen equipment.

Nice unit that is powerful and easy to use. The only downfall is that the interior light does not operate when the door is open.

My microwave died and i needed to get one ASAP. so i went to Best Buy to pick it up. Long story short, i had to come back again to exchange this because the 1st one didn't have the plate inside. It's pretty noisy, compared to the one we had, and the lights doesn't turn on when you open the door. the light is on when it's in use, but that's the only time it's on. I wish i exchanged it to another one, but they didn't have much of a selection in stock when i went.

The Panasonic microwave I purchased works well and does what I need. I miss the interior light that my last microwave had and the single button to add 30 sec to cook time but my old microwave only lasted 3 years (GE). It has a reheat feature which supposedly has a sensor but It seems to overheat food and must be watched. Other than that it appears to be a fine machine and I would recommend it.

The size is perfect for my needs which aren't extensive. This is a powerful unit which gets the job done in less time than my previous microwave units. Works beautifully as advertised. I've gotten used to having he inside light come on when the door opens and while cooking. This unit doesn't have the light come on when the door opens which doesn't matter when the lights are on - it's just something one would expect since all previous units I've owned did light the interior whenever the door was opened. But nothing is perfect.

This unit seems to cook well enough. I find the door to be questionable. It seems like it has a bump to it moving from open to closed. Not sure if that's normal or if I have a bad unit. The only other unit I was able to check out had a broken door, so...maybe a future issue I'm seeing the start of here. The price is right for the size and job it does, so I'm fairly happy with the purchase. I just hope if the door finally breaks, it does it within the warranty period. One thing that really bothers me about this unit is when I hit the quick minute button, I also have to hit the start button. It bugs me since my last microwave would start cooking-which saves a step & makes a "quick minute" button a bit quicker.

Cooks fast and evenly. Nice clean lines and stylish look. Fits well in my pantry.

Great item. Just big enough for a house of 4, LG MIcrowaves are better though, but for the price .. It is great

I love this microwave. It is 1200 watts which is great because it heats reheats and defrosts quickly. It fits nicely on the counter without taking up too much space. Consumer Reports rated it the best overall microwave on the market and for good reason.

Works fine. Louder than we would like. No rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. The light only operates while it is in use, not when you open the door to place items in or remove items.

Previous microwave was a larger Panasonic. Love the size of the new one, and it is so simple to use.

Better power than my last 900 watt mic. The inverter mode seems to be handy and works. The reheat mode gets very hot. The clock and timer are handy. The door seems to have a indent when its less than half way open and slows the door from swinging all the way open. I don't know why this is. I bought the open box item and it was probably never unpacked so that was fine.

My wife wanted a toaster oven last year and a microwave this Christmas so after research I bought this Panasonic. The microwave fills all the space I had for placement. Our first tests were with the popcorn button and it performed perfectly. Since then we have used it to reheat and keep warm and the oven did its job. Meals seem thoroughly heated without cold spots and the power is much appreciated. I think this one's a keeper !

I bought this unit to replace a smaller microwave by Avanti that I purchased because its compact size seemed a good fit for our small kitchen. Bad choice. The inside was too small, and the oven intermittently shut down in the middle of cooking something (usually popcorn), probably due to internal overheating. This mid-size Panasonic is a delight to use, with a considerably larger interior that accommodates everything I cook, with room to spare. One caveat: Read the instructions first. The Sensor Cook settings (if you choose to use them) are coded for different things you might be cooking or heating, so you can't just pop something in the oven, select Sensor Cook and hit Start. That false assumption on my part, in a hasty experiment, resulted in a crispy bagful of black popcorn. Look in the manual and find out which of the 12 settings applies to the thing you're cooking. Other than that, it's a pretty standard microwave that does the job without a hitch, and it has enough power to cook quicker than my old oven. I'm glad I got it.

This is the perfect size for my microwave shelf. Looks good and easy to clean! The price was right, and the performance is great! I was worried about the brand, but I am very impressed!

This is a great microwave for smaller spaces, heats hotter than my older big one did.
