Was looking for a quality, inexpensive SS microwave for the kitchen. This fits the bill. Fairly priced and easy to operate. Yet still with enough juice to handle any needs. also nice & compact with plenty of space on the inside.

This 1200 watt microwave is plenty powerful, but it's missing some features that I am used to having. Such as the light doesn't come on when you open the door, it only comes on when the microwave is running. And I don't think that I can use the timer feature and heat something up in the microwave at the same time. I'm keeping this microwave because Panasonic is a brand that I know and trust, it was a good price, and it does accomplish it's main purpose very well, but I'm going to have to get used to not having those little features that my old microwave had.

Stainless steel looks modern and sleek. Easy to use. Cooks evenly and quickly. The constant on defrost setting works much better than other microwaves which cycle on and off.

Very nice stainless steel microwave, very easy to use size was just right for the cabinet space we needed to fill. Controls are easy to use and cooking time appears to be reduced as claimed. Stainless is easy to clean.

I purchased this Panasonic microwave oven to replace a GE microwave oven that had suddenly stopped working. (I did a quick check of the switches, etc., on the GE before I gave up hope.) I really like the performance of this Panasonic microwave oven. The sensor reheat is accurate most of the time. It is an easy oven to operate, and cooks food well. The inside light does not stay on when the door is open, but that is to save electricity. I have no problem with this as I keep the lights on in the kitchen! I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a great microwave. Looks great, reasonable price (it was cheaper here at Best Buy then it was at Costco). It has wonderful features for the price. The inverter technology makes the food heat very evenly. I really like that. The reheat sensor is great. One of my favorite things is that you can program the wait time. When you microwave a frozen meal, usually it tells you to have the item sit for one or two minutes after heating. With this microwave, you can program it so after it finishes heating, you set the wait time and it will beep when the wait time is up. I like this a lot better than my old one. The only negative is that the light does not come on when you open the door. but that is a very very minor issue. There is a light that comes on while the food is cooking, though. On the other hand, you can leave the door ajar to air it out without worrying about the bulb burning out. It's compact yet holds a full size dinner plate, it's powerful (1200 watts, I believe). Very easy to use. Great machine!

Very classy look and still a very practical easy to use kitchen appliance. Heats evenly, and quiclkly, and has excellent defrost.

After reviewing several reports on the microwaves in various articles I decided to buy Panasonic microwave. I needed a mid-size type of microwave. I had tried several other brands but all were useless after two years. Panasonic brand has some good reviews so I went for NN-SN651WA. So far I am quite happy with the product . It is much better than the previous microwaves I have used. The converter technology is an extra bonus that I like.

We had a full size microwave and wanted a smaller one. The size is perfect. It's easy to use. It cooks faster and more consistently than our previous microwave.

This low priced Panasonic MW is small on the outside but big on the inside. It uses a new type of MW generator that takes up less space and weighs less. It is powerful and reasonably quiet. Control panel is easy to read and use. Rotating table works smoothly. Amazingly, this new technology even costs less. Protected by many patents, I gather. If you have the space available Panasonic makes a bigger version of this MW that looks sleeker and cost more.

This microwave delivers while being compact, attractive and well priced. Only complaint is that it's a little loud.

Excellent powerful microwave that heats up efficiently and perfect for a small space requirements. Con: no light when the door opens

I had an almost identical model for about 8 years until it broke last spring. After some research, I found that the updated Panasonic model was still well rated. This was the model, and it was on sale at Best Buy. I've had no trouble -- it's large; the buttons are easy to read. The only non-intuitive aspect is the :"sensor-reheat", which consists of a series of descriptions and numbers printed on the door. Seems like it could be easier to program. Otherwise, it's fine.

So far, it works great and heats foods quickly. Auto setting used for baked potato works well but since I haven't memorized all the settings, I need to keep the manual handy. 5 beeps at cycle end not too loud to be annoying. Would have preferred a handle rather than the push button to open the door.

This microwave is quite powerful for its size, heating food quickly and evenly. It has significantly smaller outer dimensions than my 10-year old oven (but the same cubic foot interior) and it fits better on my countertop. I got a great deal by combining a sale with reward certificates. Very pleased with the microwave, Best Buy & myself!

Good microwave for the size I need. has all the functions that are needed. I have had no problem with it so far. the only draw back to the one thing I miss, is having the, or a light come on when I open the door. it is suppose to be some kind of energy saver, but just how much are we saving with the door opening a few seconds at the time. but yes I would recommend..

Complaints about the light not going on when you open the door are not seeing the beauty of this feature. Microwave cooking produces steam and odor. If you can leave the door open after cooking without the light on, it's a blessing! This is a compact, fast cooking BEAST! The auto cook feature leaves a bit to be desired. But the straight up cooking capability is awesome. Buy it, realize it isn't the quietest unit on the market and "air it out" without burning out a light bulb after cooking!

Opened up the box and I was happy to see a decent sized microwave with a sleek clean cabinet. Easy to use, no learning curve required. Fits the size of bowls I want to put in it. Warms up food great, also is great for cooking. I am learning to use it for more things than I have any of the previous microwaves I have owned.

My 92 year old Mother needed a new microwave. Had to be easy to open and operate, with enough power to cook frozen meals every day. This fit the bill and she loves using it. Door opens easily, numbers on the pad can be read, fits on her counter under the cupboards along with having good power. Paid full price because it was needed right away, but the following week went on sale and got a $30 credit from the store.
