If you are in the market for a new microwave like I was this one is your best bet. I spent hours searching for one and reading reviews this microwave had high ratings and is the perfect size. I wanted a big 2.6 microwave but now I am glad I didn't because this one is just right. It heats food quickly and was easy to set up. I tell all my friends and family to get one of these as I'm sure it will last a long time and is worth every penny.

Purchased this microwave as a Christmas gift for my parents. They had a much older microwave that did not have the power of this model, as older microwaves more powerful than theirs were also bigger In size. This one was perfect! It is smaller than a lot of the microwaves, which is great if you have a small area to work with, as in my case. However, the inside space is very roomy for the size. The power level is much better and the indicator screen is easy to read. It is easy to figure out, another plus for those of us who are techno-challenged. It was a hit with my parents, who are in their 80's. A very good choice for seniors, and anyone working with a small kitchen.

This microwave heats a lot faster than my old one. It therefore uses a lot more power, which means that If you don't have it on a dedicated circuit, it will blow a fuse when you're running something else. The outside casing is kind of cheap; the door button is already scratched. It's loud, too. However, it heats things quickly and evenly, so if you can get it on sale, it's a decent buy.

When my old microwave died, I decided to replace it with a slightly larger capacity. After looking through the selection at Best Buy, I settled on the Panasonic 1.2 cu ft mid-size in stainless. I am very happy with the performance and happier still that this larger capacity microwave has smaller all-over dimensions. It's good looking and works well. I'd highly recommend it.

For my purposes, this unit performs well. I is more powerful than the similarly sized unit that it replaces, so caution is advised in the early going with it. As other reviews mentioned, the light does not come on when it isn't cooking and I consider this a significant oversight, but it does not outweigh the pluses. And, my research at the time showed Best Buy to be the best price, with free shipping!

I bought this appliance because I had one made by the same company before and I was happy with the way it functioned. I research this unit to make sure it had a minimum of 1200 W I needed and an attractive look. I have been using it for two months now and it works like a charm. I don't expect any problem for the next three years. I couldn't have made a better decision than purchasing this unit.

Had a Panasonic before and loved it but I needed a white countertop because I dislike over range microwaves (dangerous for kids, spilling into your eyes, etc. etc). Best Buy has the best selection of microwave models. They are great. This model is small footprint, easy to use, a bit noisy, have to make sure it doesn't overcook compared to other models. Panasonic scores. I've had it two months and it is great.

So far it's been about 30 days and all has been fine. Door opens perfectly, so, the issues everyone describes may have finally been resolved...Too early to tell. It seems a bit slower to heat up beverages than my older Micro but I really like the sensor reheat feature. Has done a perfect job at reheating foods to the right temp with no cold spots or overcooking...But...I have not had enough time to really give this a workout yet. The only Real BUMMER at this point is the lack of a light once the door is opened. So I knocked off a star for that! Smarten up Panasonic...you have been making these for some time and should know by know what people want....A .50cent microswitch would be all it takes

Easy to use but may be a little noisy. Works a lot better than my older microwave

We have been using this microwave for a couple of months now and we love it! I have not had any problems defrosting things. One a small issue was thawing cooked food in a plastic bag. It was my fault though, I forgot to open the bag. Other than that it has been great. I've fixed a mug cake just the other day, I had to lower the cook time to 45 seconds on high instead of the 2 minutes that my old microwave took. When cooking at a lower power level, I have to remember to set the power level first then the time. Every microwave I've ever used before has been set time, then power level. A minor thing to get used to. This is far above an ordinary microwave. The power stays the same throughout the cooking or defrosting process, no more raising and lowering the power. I have not had any hot spots with frozen spots when thawing meat, like I had with other microwaves. My frozen meals heat evenly. The only thing I haven't cooked yet is microwave popcorn. I don't expect any difficulties though. As far as size goes, it fits my counter perfectly! Love it!

Great microwave at a great price! I purchased another brand microwave after my old one died and totally hated it. So I researched this make and model and it had good reviews. I'm so glad I bought it...it is wonderful! Door is soft/quiet opening and closing. The microwave itself is a little loud, but it's quieter than my old one. The only negative I have about this model is that the light doesn't come on inside the unit when you are loading/unloading, it's only on when it's running. Thing I like most is that you can enter any amount of time you like i.e. 77 seconds. If you want a good microwave at an excellent price then go no further than this Panasonic.

This is a easy to use nice looking microwave it heats up everything fast.

Our trusty microwave of almost 20 years passed away due to regular use and abuse and still many years away from a kitchen overhaul, we decided to employ a stop-gap measure. This Panasonic was exactly what we needed. It's simple to use, fit our counter space perfectly, and appears to be extremely dependable. And the price was right!

While remodeling our kitchen, we decided to take down that HUGE over the range microwave. It still worked great, however, was large and hanging too low. We decided on this Panasonic countertop model because it was the small size we needed thinking we would place it in a cabinet behind doors. We changed our mind on that and decided to place it on the countertop in a corner. Its just the right size, has nice look to it and was easy to learn how to us. It was small but had exactly the features we needed, nothing extra and we wanted to buy it from "Best Buy". We are enjoying using it.

This microwave does everything I need of it; It doesn't have a light inside when the door is open, but that isn't important to me. It seems to heat food evenly. It looks nice. Panasonic has always been a quality,reliable brand for me in the past. I'm not sure what this 'inverter' stuff is about, if it is just marketing or actually helps somehow, but it works fine.

We were without a microwave for short time and could not live without it. Our last one was purchased in 1983. So we got our moneys worth out of it. This one has only been used for heating things up and appears to be working great. Large inside and looks very nice. Not cheap looking.

I originally purchased another brand of microwave and had a problem with it. I exchanged it for the exact same model and had a different problem with it. I returned the second oven and decided to get something else. After comparing all of the brands and models, I settled on this Panasonic. The store gave me a great deal on it since I had already made two fairly long trips to remedy my earlier problems. I had originally considered this microwave when I purchased the first one, but it cost quite a bit more, and I'm on a pretty tight budget. However, in hind sight, I should have just stretched a little and got this one to start with. I had purchased a Panasonic microwave many years ago before I got married, and my parents were still using it until just this year. We estimated that it was probably at least 12 or 15 years old. So far I am very pleased with my new Panasonic. It heats quickly and evenly. It defrosts quite well, too. I like the quick minute feature, but I miss the extra 30 second feature of my previous microwave. The stainless steel exterior is very sleek and stylish. This microwave is easy to operate and clean. There are only two things I really would count as negatives: One is the volume of the chime at the end of cooking or using the kitchen timer. It is quite a bit lower than what I have been used to. I only hear it if I am in the same room or an adjacent room with nothing else like a washing machine or dishwasher running. I do not have any hearing problems, and my house is far from being large. I've just learned to try to estimate when it will be finishing and try to be nearby when it does. The second negative is the sensor reheat feature. I had a microwave once before with this feature, and I loved it. I was thrilled that my new Panasonic also had this feature. However, every time my husband or I have used it, we have had to stop it early because the food was already getting way too hot. Other than that, I am very happy with my Panasonic microwave, and I would highly recommend it.

I purchased this to replace one that was 11 or 12 years old. This is the same model as the old one, just new and improved. It works like a charm. Defrosts things in a snap, and is simple to use. The stainless steel exterior is easy to clean, and looks really sharp. The size is great - not too small and not too large. I like everything about it.
