Fine microwave but wish it had a door light would recommend it

This Whirlpool Microwave is easy to use with more features than my previous one. I particularly like the microwave oven control which gives you a choice of one button cooking or reheating. Since most microwaves do not have the light on feature when cooking, this one does. What's more it is solidly built! This microwave exceeds my expectations!

This item works nicely. I'm really pleased with my purchase.

I don't share the enthusiasm that others do when reviewing this microwave. When you operate it and the door is closed is the only time that the light will come on. They call this an energy saver. It's annoying not to open the door and have a light go on. The way that you open this microwave is to grip it under the carriage and then push the door button otherwise you will slide the microwave everywhere. Not enough settings and no defrost for quick bread etc. really miss my Sharp Carousel oven .

This microwave is awesome. The instruction manual is quite hefty. But once you get to know the settings and modes you will use the most often, it's almost too easy to use. It will sense steam and stop cooking, it can cook potatoes with just a couple key presses. Defrosting is super easy. Almost like Ronco, set it, and forget it.

It is an inexpensive choice that will get the job done. One down side is that when the door is open there is not a light that stays on so it makes it harder to clean.

This little microwave is not so little it has a lot of room inside. I believe it cooks like a convection oven. The inside carousel along with other features cooks or warms up food or liquids thoroughly and fast.

I've had the microwave for about 1.25 years now. The microwave works fine but the coating over the control buttons started to "bubble" within a few months. It doesn't seem to affect the product's functioning at all but doesn't look too great.

Easy to use, great size, great cooking power!!!!!!

This microwave I purchased is just the right size I was looking for. It has a rotating plate and heats great. My last microwave was a similar model and lasted me 17 years. So I bought another one.

It is a good microwave that does what we need. The defrost doesn't work like our last microwave. It beeps when it's time to flip, but doesn't stop. The button to open the door is a little hard to push.

I have only had it a few weeks, but it has done a super job. I use it daily and it has performed perfectly. It is the perfect size for dinner plates and heats food thoroughly. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a model for daily use.

I have been using this for a month. It works just fine. The only issue is that the light doesn't come on when the door is opened. Don't know whether that's intended or fault with my unit
