It replaced a 1000 watt counter top whose on/off switch failed with under 4 years of use. (Prior to that, last counter top lasted 13 years.) So far, machine has been great. Popcorn pops right up with the popcorn button, and regular oatmeal is a quick 3 1/4 minutes. Only concern is that the inside does not light up to see how the food is cooking.

Can't see food while cooking through glass

Also makes a lot of noise when on, and the button to open the door didn't work very well. Therefore I returned it.

This model is a fine replacement, except no interior light comes on when the door opens...WHY would you eliminate that feature??? Thought it was broken as this is not mentioned anywhere in the accompanying literature. Finally read a review that said the same thing.

I was worried that they would have a hard time getting used to all of the new features that their old microwave didn't have, but they had no problem whatsoever. It's very simple and easy for them to use, plus they love the size. I purchased this through the BB website and picked it up at the store within an hour...sure beats going to there blindly, hoping to find what I need. And the staff were very helpful at pickup. Great experience overall!
