Na engineer and cooks dream machine…

Our Sharp died a dramatic death after 18 years of faithful service. We needed a large platter but not a large microwave. The sharp was a great design with the controls running across the top reducing the width while maintaining the cavity 1.6cu ft 1200watts. Enter this unit. Same specs, similar platter 16 vs 18” and newer better defrost functionality. (AWESOME) We LOVED it so much (that when the first one died after two years from some misuse… arg), we bought another. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It gets used daily for many applications… oh did i mention DEFROST! Yessss. You won’t regret it.

We are very happy with this microwave. It is a nice size and has many features and warms food up evenly. As we use it in the office the only feature that is a little frustrating is the child lock as it is easy to do by accident.

Great microwave. Wish it had a one touch 1 minute button (our old one did). Took a minute to figure out how to shut off child lock, but otherwise no issues.

0rdered and recieved next day to use for lunch, amozon was 50$ more and delivery w/prime was 3 days from order, outstanding deal from best buy, also child lock defeat is ,after plug in press auto defrost, cook time, popcorn will disable child lock ( youtube)

Our old Panasonic microwave lasted 39 years, so we felt confident to purchase another of the same brand. It is taking some time to get used to the commands, but it is working fine.

We bought this to replace a 31 year old Panasonic. Great features. It somehow is about to concentrate heat in the middle of a defrosting item, which makes for more quick and even reheat. Others have commented on the door angle; there is a minor cosmetic issue with the door sagging down and to the right, about 1 mm, with no associated performance issue. Soapbox: I wish there were LESS options for microwaves. How about just limiting the variables to plate diameter and power, and maybe cosmetic design features? Then the manufacturers could focus their attention on perfecting a few models, instead of flooding the marketplace with "choices" that differ very little one from the next. Thank you, Best Buy, for recycling my expired microwave for free in the store!

This is the second time I’ve purchased this particular Panasonic microwave. It fits perfectly in my built-in grill Been very pleased with the performance of first Panasonic microwave. It has outperformed very expensive upscale microwave originally installed.

It is very easy to use and heats foods very evenly and nicely with the Cyclonic Inverter. It also fits well on my countertop, and we are able to wipe smudges easily. We would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

Good size for early morning tea and for larger evening meals. Used the sensor feature for baked potatoes and it went very well. I do a lot of reheating. Had a Panasonic Inverter prior to this one but the door latch stopped working correctly.

This is so much better than the previous microwave! It's got more wattage so items cook faster. Operation is smooth and easy. Only downside was the child safety feature which we don't need but would be good to have. We are able to disengage it so no worries. Love this one!

Works like our previous model that we had for 22 years. The only inconvenience is that you have to press zero before pressing the open door button.
