It was a awesome feature. When it done , youd have to press an unlock button inorder to open the door. Theres also amd option to remove that feature. But for thise that have kids .i highly recommend this microwave!!

Turntable drive defect

We have had two substantially identical Panasonic models before this one, and we loved them so much we wanted another one. But the model(s) we had before were no longer available and this was the closest one in the size we needed. It had a manufacturing defect, though; it made a loud, repeating clicking sound for about ten seconds when the turntable started and then for about fifteen seconds when the turntable stopped, indicating slippage occurring in the inner workings of the turntable drive system. We returned it and bough a Hamilton Beach model which was HALF the price and has had no problems whatsoever.

The microwave performs very well and cooks very evenly and quickly. We found out that we cannot use our toaster over at the same time bit this is a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful microwave. Highly recommend it. Cooked baked potatoes in it and they came out perfect. Everything tastes better cooked/heated in this microwave than in our old one!

We owned a Panasonic inverter microwave before this it was smaller. It lasted close to 10 years. So I wanted to stick with the same thing when I bought a new one, saw this in the store and got it. In less than a year it already has several problems. The door sticks when I open it, I have to use both hands to open it. Seems like a piece inside near the door is broken. I can deal with that issue but it also doesn't function properly. The motor for the carousel plate is already damaged...it stutters and makes lots of noise. Doesn't spin the food correctly. The whole microwave seems cheaply made with bad parts. I would love to give this a better review because I lived my old Panasonic inverter like I said it lasted a long time and was made to last. This is just cheap junk thrown together and sold at higher price.

I love this microwave my old microwave I used the 30 second button numerous of times - this one I hardly use it 19 seconds for a quick warm Up no more no less

I want my Breville microwave back!

I would not buy this microwave again. Yes, it is powerful enough, but the ease of use just isn't there. The interior light is the tiniest little light I have ever seen. It may as well not be there. There is no way to use the microwave in the dark, as the panel of buttons does not light up. Turning the micro on requires pushing more buttons than what should be necessary. I want my Breville microwave back!

Our Panasonic microwave developed rust and peeling finish inside the microwave ceiling (everywhere else looks new). Totally unsafe for cooking. Microwave still works but i wont cook in it with peeling finish which is flaking off with rust appearing underneath. Terrible quality. I used to trust Panasonic...now ill stay away .
