I paid $500 for this set during a sale and I'm very happy with it. It was a best buy on consumer reports and I think it really is. I have a comparable size Samsung and if there is a difference in quality, it's nominal. I saw another review that said they had trouble streaming Amazon movies but I did that and YouTube without any problems. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the sound quality is not great, but that seems to be the case on the other brands as well, and I guess you just have to get a sound bar. It's really only an issue when streaming but all in all, I would highly recommend this set. Good luck with your decision...

I really have enjoyed this tv for the 2 months or so , I've owned it. For my tastes, the preset calibration settings were either too bright, too cold, or too dark. Once I took the time to custom calibrate the screen, it really showed me what it can do. I watch a lot of 1080p video and I have to say the color accuracy is nearly perfect after calubratIon. I do think this display is a better choice for viewers that like a warmer picture overall. Black levels are very good as well. I have no opinion on the soun as I never tested The tv speakers. I spent a minimal amount of time using the Smart functions, but found them adequate. I already have FireTV and Roku integrated in my home so I don't really have a use for those functions.

We were leary of this TV because. I am glad I was wrong. This TV has a great picture, great sound without a sound bar, and the smart features have been fun. I would buy this TV again.

Great picture. Easy to set up. Using the remote for passwords, searching and such is quite cumbersome. I had hoped that my iPad Remote app would have made the process easier, but that did not turn out to be the case. Overall though, I am very happy with this television

I had read reviews of this TV online. I was a bit concerned about off-axis viewing but when I got it home and set up (which was a total piece of cake, including connecting to my network which was virtually instantaneous), the off axis view was pretty good for an LCD TV. I could have spent $200 more for a fancier TV but this one fits my living room perfectly, has great picture quality, and was easy to mount on my existing wall bracket.

This television worked perfectly to replace my older smaller bedroom television. It has a bright picture and the smart functions are easy to use. Just connect it to your wifi. Connecting is made easy as well

Picture has very vivid colors , it's very light and looks beautiful hanging on the wall , simple setup , and I like the one touch Netflix access button .

Bought this TV for a basement room and mounted it on the wall. Wanted a reasonably priced tv and this delivers. We use it primarily with an Apple TV for watching movies and it works well for what we paid.

This is my best purchase yet. Love it! I can stream Youtube videos straight from my phone into the TV wireless. The colors and clarity is great and the sound is good. Smart TV is totally worth buying.

this is a great tv for the price range. It has a great picture but the sound could be a bit clearer. The smart function of the tv works flawlessly.

At $700, the tv is an excellent value. Picture quality is good but can have some issues during very demanding scenes or when the quality of the broadcast is not great (cable or web). Full set of smart features. Works well with my Apple TV. The DLNA app connects well and I can play movies or music from my PC. Used HDTV picture calibration directions from Lifehacker.com which really helped get a realistic picture. Was able to play calibration file via DLNA as I don't have a blue-ray player. For the price I bought these two tvs at I must give them 5 stars. Are the 2000 dollar tvs? No, but they are as good as tvs I've paid over twice the price for and they have lots of good features.

I'm so happy with this purchase I made. Now I can watch any program on this tv, the best thing is I can connect to the Internet wired o wireless the picture is very clear.

Set up was easy. Pictures a little above average. Has all the bells and whistles of a TV costing twice the price

I love the size and sleekness of this tv. It has a very solid picture and all the features you could want. The sound and speakers aren't great but it wouldn't be a huge problem to get a sound bar to go a long with the tv. Love the smart tv options as well and it is really intuitive and easy to use.

this tv had all the features I was looking for in a smart tv. the hd picture quality is super as well as the sound, and it has very creative display settings.

The Panasonic 50 inch TV is just what I wanted. Really enjoying the "Netflix" button on the remote. Setup and adjustments were easy. I've used the built in browser to watch Ustream. A remote keyboard would be nice for real surfing. Also have used the mirror function to view photos from my iPhone. The clear HD picture is what I really like and use. Great for watching TV.

Needed ease of use and good picture quality for aged couple, and they love this set for both those reasons. Great bang for the buck!

Bought this as my Sony blew a circuit (after 7 years). Easy to set-up and quick to put into use. Excellent remote. So far, so good!
