This is my first cordless iron and I wish I would have purchased one many years ago! The convenience of a cordless is unbeatable. The iron has all the features needed: spray, burst of steam, holds it heat well and is not too heavy. The carry case and the removable water tank are a bonus. I would highly reccommend this iron to everyone.

Awesome iron love not having a cord. Base has a retractable cord and cover turns it into a portable unit. I would have giving an excellent in all areas if price was under $50. This iron replaced a corded Rowenta that the dog broke. Overall I would say I'm happier with this iron.

We recently stayed in a hotel in Tokyo that had a Panasonic cordless iron in the room. We used it frequently during our stay. It was so convenient to use this iron since there is no cord to get in the way! We were going to find one in a store there, and bring it back home, but never got around to it, so we were really happy to find the same model, only with English on the controls and indicators, at Best Buy!

I have had a month to use my iron and I really like it. No cord to deal with and it stays hot as long as I remember to set it on the base. Even if I forget and set it on the ironing table occasionally while rearranging my clothing it remains hot. I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this based on being cordless but can't get through a shirt without having to re-heat. If the unit heated without needing to be on the base station then this would change the performance. Is nice not having the cord get in the way but takes too long re-heating all the time.
