I bought this for the 2 HDMI output, but I don't see nothing change in the 4K upscaling, for good sound you need use the PCM method, Basic menu, Good product for regular costumer

My last Panasonic Blu- Ray DVD player lasted for almost four years. It worked great until the end. Was going to order another one when this demo was shown to me, discounted and given an extra year of protection by Geek Squad for free. So far, great!

Best Buy have been shopping there since they first began I would recommend shopping at Best Buy. Over the years I have back over 1900 DVDs and over a hundred Blu-ray discs and all of my entertainment stuff.

I would recommend the Samsung 4K player for a bit more and packed with features. The Panasonic is decent for the money though.

I was most impressed by how quick it loads compared to my prior BRD player. I could care less about the extra features.

I don’t recommend this player. I did research and checked out multiple expert reviews before picking out this one. The biggest selling point on it was how fast it was supposed to load the discs. I was tired of other players taking a long time to load. This player was actually slower than the cheap player I got on clearance at a bargain bin type store.
The worst thing about this player is the lack of a menu button on the remote. It only has a pop up menu button and that doesn’t always work.
Half the time the menu screen on a disc will load the background only but not the selections (play, chapters, bonus, etc.). The only thing to do when that happens is unplug it for about a minute and trying again. The process sometimes has me doing this about 2 or 3 times before it finally works. It isn’t a firmware issue as my player is wired to the internet and always up to date.

DMP-BDT460 4K 3D blu ray player

I love this Blu ray player it is a great compliment to my Lg 3d 4k TV and the 3D looks great and the upscaling of blu-rays and DVD's to near 4k is a true Bonus. I love the 2 HDMi's so I can connect the Audio Sub HDMI to my Pioneer VSX-1020-K receiver which does not pass thru the 4K so I can get True DTS/DTS-MSTR 7.1 audio while using the HDMI 1 straight to the TV. This is a major help so I don't have to purchase a new HT Receiver just yet. I would strongly recommend this unit. I never give anything 5 stars but very close and if it was 4k/60P then I would give 5 stars.

This DVD player takes a while to load once you insert the disc. Also sometimes the window that covers the front of the player does not flip back in place once a disc has been loaded.

Great mid-range Blu-ray player

It was time to update my blu-ray players in the house. I was originally looking for something different then the Panny's and Sonys that I currently own. I also didn't want something that was super cheap as this one, while not going in to the theater, will go on the most watched TV in the house. Was tempted by the Pioneer Elite 80FD, but it didn't have the streaming options I needed. So I ended up this unit over the Samsung J7500 and the Sony, mainly because they seemed like the same unit, but the Panny was cheaper and had less "negatives" in the reviews. First off, it's fast to load, love it. The versa interface is still a little clunky but it works and is way better than the Sony interface.
Two things that everyone should know about this unit, 1) it does NOT have a digital coax out, as stated in the specs, it's HDMI and Optical only. 2) If you are using an IR emitter (i.e. unit is in a different room) the IR receiver is behind the door. That means that once you open the tray your emitter is out of place and won't be able to close it with the remote. Odd design flaw, oh well.
The unit's picture looks great and if the two items don't effect you, than don't hesitate on this machine.

Panasonic Blu-ray players are great, some of the best picture quality. Having the 2 HDMI outs are great for receivers that don't support 3D, plus, it can split the sound and video into it's own HDMI cable for a better signal.

great 4k upscale blu-ray player 3d is really great on this player the we browser is point less i have a fast internet but noting loads that well on the browser that the only negative the upscaling is nice im hoping this player will play full 4k movies when there out cause when i play a blu-ray it goes to 2160p instead of 1080p which is pretty cool but im happy with it i dont recommend using the web browser though dvds look pretty good to those just say 1080p not 2160p 3d looks great ive been using my ps3 or ps4 for 3d lately but since i got this player im getting less ghosting and the 3d really pops out excellent but i do recommend this player to anyone if there looking for a player oh by the way it has two 2.0 hdmi ports also.

Stunning picture quality. Loads fast enough. The sub hdmi jack works Great so I can use My Harman Kardon Receiver which does not have 3 D or 4K pass through with it. I Like !

Bought this to use with my 4K LG 3D tv and couldn't be happier! The 360 which I previously had would sometimes shutdown after 5 hours or more (which one can use while watching a few movies), whereas this model goes and goes for hours. I do find the clarity of the apps to be better on the smart tv (clearer) but if one uses this strictly for watching 3d or blue ray movies, you'll be amazed at the audio and visual effects!

I gave this three stars I bought this and waited for it to be shipped to the store for pickup once I got it I opened the box to find the entire case surrounding the player was damaged, and to me it was damaged when it was assembled it didn't look like it happened from being dropped or punted through a fieldgoal. To bad it matched my silver tv, and would have looked sweet, best buy exchanged it no prob and I just went with another Samsung can always count on Samsung. I bet it would have worked very well had I had a chance to plug it in and have a look. Oh well

This player has been great. We were originally just looking for a player that supported apps like Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, etc, but decided to splurge and get a 4k player to "future proof", if that's even possible with technology. But this player has been rock solid and my wife loves it, a hard feat for sure!
