Great picture quality for dvd,1080p upscale, and Ultra HD Blu-ray. In addition this player boasts great sound playback for both movies and music!

On this one. The sound and picture quality is oustanding and better than my 4K upscaling Samsung 3D bluray player. However, we returned our first DMP-UB900 because the loader became slow to open and close after a week and stopped working altogether unless I rebooted. Then the Netflix app didn't display the 4K. Perhaps it was a lemon so we got an exchange. Crossing fingers.

Bought this player for my media room and I am not disappointed. Great picture and sound output with many control options. Highly recommended

Being my first 4K TV purchase, i needed a 4k DVD player...i was going to just get the samsung suggested by best buy....READ THE REVIEWS!!! This Panasonic is superior in all ways & worth the few extra $$$.

This player is nearly everything that a flagship player should be. Excellent build quality combined with a great set of features with one glaring exception. No support whatsoever for the VUDU streaming media service. I would have given this player a 5 Star rating had it not been for the omission of VUDU. I hope that at some point, it will be added via a future firmware update, but until then, this "flagship" player, falls short.

Bought this at more than half the price as an open-box item, and I couldn't be happier. It's hooked up to a pre-HDR 4k Vizio tv but still delivers excellent image quality. If you can get this on sale or as open-box, then I would definitely recommend.

This unit has the best separation of channels I've heard! It's really a great sounding unit. Crisp, clean and excellent and the picture was okay too.

I reviewed all the DVD players based on our need for 7.2 surround sound quality. Very happy with this audio quality as we were blasting Trans-Siberian Orchestra on Christmas eve!

Love the Panasonic blue ray player. Very easy to set up and updating was a breeze. I replaced a less than one year old samsung unit. I would highly recommend the Panasonic dvd bluray player

By far best player. Had recently purchased well respected Sony model that was great. This Panasonic player is just fantastic. Super fine CD player as well. Nice full featured remote can be used in the dark.

This is an incredible piece of technology. Upscaling is awesome 4K blu rays and hdr is flawless. Make sure to go into video setting and use the hdr slider really makes a difference.

I have too many Blu-Ray players, like Sony, Toshiba, but this one I want to be. I use optical cable for sound not HDMI cable, the sound so good, and HDMI cable for picture, its color is natural.It is a very good one.

I was waiting for Panasonic to get back to video. I have been completely satisfied. The unit is fast, easy and does almost everything I want. Only problem no HULU at this time.

OK. It doesn’t play ANYTHING. No SACD playback, for example. But I like this player because it can handle just about any burned audio or video disc I throw at it. Solid construction. Quick-enough operation. I dig it.

This is the ultimate alternative to other 4k blu ray player on the market now! Great picture quality fast load time. All around good deal.

I have watched a few 3-D Movies and 4ks. Picture is great and sound too. Spent a lot of time researching the right player to buy. I am glad to have made this purchase.

This unit combined with a LG OLED screen and there is almost no reason to go to a movie theater. The picture is stunning, the sound is awsome. 4K HDR has to be seen to believe.

I would hands down recommend this to a friend.... Loving it so far.. Also has amazing audio when playing music CDs.. Over all great purchase for the money spent..

After trying the samsung unit I decided to switch to the Panasonic, the difference was night and day!

This is a replacement for an LG 4K upscaling DVD player that ceased functioning. The Panasonic works great. It loads quickly, offers life-like play back, and made The Big Lebowski a spookily surreal in appearance!
