I really like this shaver. I've used the rotary style for a number of years and was always disappointed in the lack of closeness of the shave. This shaver shaves very close for an electric, even in some tough areas like on the neck. I still need to trim around the goatee with a blade but no longer need to touch up anywhere else. It uses 10-15% of the charge per shave so I can get close to a week between charges. Charges very quickly as well. I think the noise level is fine but my wife tells me it's loud. Overall, very happy with this unit.

Great shaver, Close shave saves time. Easy to use and clean

The pivot head to this arc is really conforming and comfortable, all while getting quite a close shave. The battery on it is excellent and fits nicely in the hand, not too bulky but doesn't feel like a toothpick, pretty solid piece of machine.

My old Braun 5314 shaver finally gave up and stopped working. I was going to get another Braun, but decided on this Panasonic instead. I have been pleased with the wet/dry feature of the Panasonic shaver, and its close shave with less skin irritation than my Braun, which was dry shave only. I think it's also a better value than the new Braun shavers with their expensive cleaning modules. I just have to rinse the head with water or blow the dust off and it's ready to go.

Easy to use, comfortable, and low cost. Does a great job of dry shaving for the price. Battery display is convenient to gauge how much juice is left on the shaver. 3 blades cuts comfortably, but requires several passes for hard areas (ie: jawline). Cleaning is relatively simple and there is also a sideburn trimmer. I haven't tried this shaver wet, and have only been using it for dry shaving.

Haven't used an electric since a Norelco in the '70s. No comparison! This shaver is easy on face while chopping of hairs at a respectable length. 6-8 shaves per charge and relatively quiet buzz.

A great shaver for my high schooler to take to college next year. It charges easily and gives a good shave. Only downside is that it doesn't have a trimmer to get right next to sideburns.

After reading the reviews I decided to give the Panasonic Wet Dry Arc3 a try. I've had other electric shavers throughout my lifetime and never really felt the quality was what it should be. Unfortunately the same is true for this razor. It requires continuously going over the same area, which leaves my skin irritated. The quality of the shave is acceptable for an electric razor; it just isn't a substitute for a traditional shave. I'd also like to add that it works better dry than wet. I guess it's all in what your use to. I can live without ever shaving via electric razor again. I'll just keep doing it the way I've done it since I first began shaving. If your old school like me; you may not enjoy this item. If your accustom to electric razors then, I'd say it's worthy of a try. Delivery was prompt, received my package within 3 or 4 days from ordering and it was during Christmas holiday season.

This shaver is good when you can be used wet shaving with shaving lather or for dry shaving.You also can clean this shaver in water quickly and easy to maintain superior cutting performance.When you used it for 3 week,you won't ever want to shave with anything else.It is worth it.

I have used shaver daily with no problems, shave is close, does not irritate skin. Shaver has good battery for multiple shaves before recharging. Easy maintenance and would highly recommend shaver.

This razor may have given me as close a shave as I've ever had, electric or blade and the closest blade shaves have been against the grain, which can be hard on the skin. The Arc3 shave is very comfortable and non-irritating, which is saying something on thin 65-year-old skin. I also really like the battery readout that allows me to avoid having the razor run out of juice in the middle of a shave. Recharge is quick and tells you when it's done. I appreciate the locking mechanism on the on-off button for travel but not the lock on the head. Seems to me if you leave the head on the soft setting all you're doing is flopping it back and forth on your face and not getting a very good shave. I also can't attest to the Arc3's wet shave capabilities because I don't wet shave. Wet skin causes too much drag for me to get the shave I want. At almost twice the price of my previous electric razor(another Panasonic btw) I thought it a bit pricey but I hadn't bought one in years and I'm known as a cheap SOB. I would be surprised, however, if you could get a better shave out of any of the more expensive brands.

This shaver was all the rave from my spouse. It provided him with a close shave that I absolutely loved. Will recommend highly especially for those who want a close shave.

This replaced a razor that was long overdue. Easy to use. Cuts through hair with ease. Can shave 12+ times before having to recharge.

I have purchased 2-3 Panasonic Wet-Dry shavers over the past 20 years. This model does not disappoint. They are dependable, long lasting, and provide an incredible close smooth shave. I use just use soap and it works great with this shaver in the shower. It also provides a decent dry shave. The battery on this model is long lasting, and you can always check the amount of the charge left on the display. In the past I have replaced the blades every couple of years, but otherwise no other problems. Highly recommended!

This shaver is a great deal for us guys with tough stubble & thick facial hair. It seems to shave even better when my stubble is longer! Like a day and a half growth! It shaves close and smooth every time, and rinses clean under the tap in seconds.... Works so well, that I bought a second one to use when I shower at work!

I haven't used an electric shaver for a few years and I have been pleased with this Panasonic model. Easy to clean and shave gets better the more you use it. Charge lasts a full week+

I have been a Panasonic razor user for years. The newer motors are quieter and faster. The newer batteries last longer. They are wet/dry razors so clean up is easy, just run soapy water over them, turn them on for a few seconds and its clean. You can also shave with shaving cream. I have a thick beard and these razors give me a close comfortable shave. I hear people complain about the price but they last for years. Plus razor blades are expensive these days. I actually save money.

This is the first shaver I have found that fits my needs perfectly. I have a close neatly trimmed beard. I no longer have trouble getting into the small tight places. The smaller head profile is well thought out for my application. The shave is close and smooth. And the battery charge indicator keeps me from running out of charge. I being use it for more than five months and I never had a problem, I like it so much, I had to buy one for my friend to.
