This phone arrived in a very large box so that was strange, but it was well packaged.I thought the phone had a headset with it but as I read the instructions and on package the phone it was apparent that I misunderstood this information. I tried to pair my wireless earbuds with it but perhaps my earbuds are very cheap and just didn’t want to work. I think it is more an issue with my earbuds then with this phone. I have a new headset ordered so I will be anxious to get the wireless headphones working.I have previously owned several cordless Panasonic phones have have always found them to have a good sound quality and this phone does not disappoint. Today, many people no longer have land lines but I’d like to use voice over Internet and use this type of cordless phone. This phone functions as a digital answering machine has a long battery life and has talking caller ID. You can have hands-free conversations and additional phones can be added to his phone system.Since I have used several other models of Panasonic I am very familiar with the set up and the keypads which are easy to use. This phone has rechargeable batteries and they use the NI- MH rechargeable type batteries. My other Panasonic phones allow me to connect my cell phone to the base unit and then answer my cell phone from any wireless phone but this particular unit doesn’t seem to have that function unless it can happen by pairing via Bluetooth. For this reason, I removed 1 star.

My experience with this headset is a great one and I almost want a landline at my house just because the phone is so good. I love having a Bluetooth headset attached to the phone's headset to take my calls range even further. Once to reach the maximum distance you can leave the headset behind and go 30 to 40 more feet away using your Bluetooth buds. I have tried this and it works. Range will vary on obstacles and line of sight but I was getting a pretty consistent range. The sound quality is very good on the phones headset and great on my Bluetooth ear buds. I was able to easily pair the headset with three different companies earbuds and I could hear callers perfectly and they could hear me just fine. It has a digital answering machine and it works just as it should. Its intuitive enough that I did not have to read the instructions to use it. The display is good for what it is - a no-frills good enough display that reads well enough in sunlight and is more than adequate. The display also is back lit for dark environments. The build quality is above average as with all Panasonic products and I expect this to last for many years.

For the price it is working fine. Easy to set up. Let's see how long it last.
