Overall, this is a great player. We had not stepped up to buying blueray dvd, but have wanted to for a quite sometime because typically at the movie store, we often couldn't purchase a new movie because the only rentals left were blueray. Also, we were wanting to get netflix and hulu, so this has been absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Not a single issue with it, and has a lot of features we like.

The time it took me to set up and start watching DVD movies was approx. 15 minutes. Very simple to set up. Very good picture.

This is a solid unit and plays great. Was able to connect to the wifi quite easily, but unable to manually add my Amazon Prime account. Panasonic support indicates that they are working on that for a firmware upgrade soon, so hopefully that does happen. Still does what I need for basic functionality, since this is a second unit int he bedroom and not in the living room where we watch most of the movies.

Told myself I would never buy a blu-ray player but could not pass up this price. Not only does it play blu-ray DVD but also regular DVD movies and it converts them to 1080p quality. Glad I decided to buy and have even bought a few new movies on blu-ray just to enjoy the quality difference. Also, the netflix and other streaming options are super easy to use and of great convenience.

So far, so good. Set up was easy and picture quality was excellent. Not intending to stream movies, we use this as a basic player and it fills the bill.

This was on sale and it was a great price. The GSP was a bit high but the main thing is it was WiFi ready and easy to use.

I really like this Blu-ray player. I like being able to access Netflix very easily, great picture. I would definitely recommend this blu-Ray player.

Finally after firmware 1.38 update it plays the STAR WARS blu ray discs! Decent load times compared to my friend's LG player. Netflix button is very convenient instead of traversing the menu options! Panasonic's ONLINE customer service is horrible! Later I called in my issue and within 24 hours they had it addressed. Overall, very pleased with my purchase now that the bugs are worked out.

Was very easy to set up and has great picture quality! It was well worth the purchase and well priced. So far we have had no problems with it so far.

We got this blue ray dvd player to replace one that is outdated. This is adequate for the money and easy to set up.

I wanted a DVD player that would play DVDs. I went with this one because it does have some "bells and whistles" that maybe useful in the future. It has wireless preprogrammed applications which means if what you seek is not there you can retrieve it throught this DVD player. if you are looking for a DVD player that comes with more features or need the latest rechnology this DVD player probably is not for you but if you want to play DVDs with a good picture this is the way to go.

I was looking for a reasonably priced smart BD player. Set up was easy, update installed quickly, and the kids were watching shows on Netflix within 10 minutes. WiFi strength is the same as my iPhone with no lagging. I have it hooked up to a Panasonic TV, so the remote works with both. There is no component output, which I knew going into this purchase. Would have bought a second for a TV that has a broken HDMI input. Seems all BD players have only HDMI outputs. The disc drive is a bit noisy on startup. All in all, would recommend this product.

great choice. It was easy to connect and set up. No technical knowledge required. full feature remote. easy to connect to my universal remote.

A good basic blu-ray player. User interface has some visual appeal, but the visual flourishes take away from intuitive operation. Connection to home wi-fi was relatively easy. After internet connection established, notification of firmware update appeared. It took almost an hour and half a dozen attempts to complete the update. Once complete, all seems fine. I would still recommend to a friend because I would be able to caution them about the firmware update.

The blue ray is a great addition to my surround sound system. I love watching movies on the blue ray and hearing it thru the surround sound.

Got this for my parents as a gift. Its very easy for them to use. They love the picture,it is their first blu ray. Great price at best Buy.
