This is a really good iron. I wasn't sure about the polished stainless steel sole plate but was amazed to find it to be an upgrade from my old non-stick. Also, I noticed that all the expensive high end irons use stainless sole plates. It heats up very quick and is well balanced and easy to use. I find it to be more stable than my old iron when sitting upright but after breaking the last one from a bump to the ironing board and a fall I purchased a pad and leave it face down. I can't comment on the steam feature as I use a spray bottle. Love the retractable cord it makes it a breeze to store. The cord itself is very long and the retractable feature makes it easy to size it for your particular ironing needs. I noticed that for the most part all the Panasonic irons are rated remarkably well for their price, quality, and features and this so far lives up to the reputation

Compared to previous Iron (some GE model) this one is great. Works very well and steams like shower. Handling also very easy than before. Nothing else to complain about, I am 100% satisfied with this Iron.

Light weight, long power cord and puts out lots of steam.

This is nice and convenient steam iron without the worry of mineral buildup over time.

I love this iron, it so great product that ironing process takes very short time, no wrinkles, edges are done well too.

This is my second Panasonic iron and have been very pleased with the quality and performance of the product. Highly recommend.

It worked to smooth the crooked seams on my shirt in 2 passes. - Smooth ironing experience, good heft without being tiresome to move.
