This iron actually gets hot enough! I don't know whether it is a perceived safety issue or the fact that irons are now plastic instead of metal but the last couple irons I had just didn't get hot enough to press wrinkled cotton. Not only does this do the job but there are two settings for steam -- low and high -- and the high is continuous steam. No more having to spray what I'm ironing with water. (An extra step I could do without.) It's got all the bells and whistles too -- auto off, blast of steam to clean, retractable chord, etc.

Cheap, nonstick, heats up fast, cord reel, auto off. Plate is somewhat smaller than other irons. I think bang for buck this is one of the best cheap irons you can get. Also, I filled up the water reservoir to the max and ironed like 11 pairs of pants. Barely used half the reservoir with the full steam setting. Pretty efficient I would say.

Gets hot fast, steams well and I love that the cord goes back inside the base of the iron so no more tangled cords. Happy with my purchase.

Heats up quickly, small in size, but does not give a sense of quality. The round dial is very flimsy. Can't see this as a long term item.

This iron is lightweigt which was a requirement for me. It seems to have all that I would want in a steam iron.

there are so many kinds of iron sale in the store, but the panasonics product is the best for me because of durability and not really expensive and most of all I did not experience any trouble since I bought my first panasonics iron six years ago,
