Wanted the 420 and got a deal on an 'open box' in excellent condition. I have purchased open box items from BB in the past, with great success. Don't fear buying one. The 420 has all of the attributes of the 820 except Dolby Atmos, which was not a need for me. It works great and provides excellent UHD 4k images, as well as SD and DVD. You won't be disappointed with this Panasonic.

Awesome 4k playback. There are so few options out in market now for 4k players. That being said, this is an awesome option.

First off Panasonic is a awesome company that I never had problems with so I trust their products. I have the big brother to this model and I have to say that I'm very pleased with them especially with the settings compared to LG which has about 4 to choose from. Can't go wrong with this brand.

A high-quality Blu-Ray DVD/CD player with ample features at a fantastic price. While this mid-range model doesn't have every possible feature and offers limited outputs, it more than serves its purposes as a DVD and CD player for our home theater system.

I linda like this product but it seems to me that something might be wrong with it because it does not want to play the movies. I am going to need to take it to be looked at but Ive been home sick.

We have had this for over 1yr and still works great. We have had some disk scratched pretty good and it still plays with no problems.

This Blu-Ray player had everything I needed at a great price and minimal footprint. Great 4K performance and great upscaling of older DVDs. I am also able to browse to videos on my network. Very pleased with this player!

I have 3 4k players now including this panasonic. The panasonic is the best one by far! The HDR adjustment is fantastic, it adds contrast, detail and clearness, and adds brightness to.

CD/DVD player was ordered after hurricane IAN, but i didnt know i needed a receiver in order to operate it, so i ordered that.

Everything you could need or want while saving yourself some dough. Dolby vision? For the amount the version costs that's supports dolby vision. I think you can just buy this one and be just as happy

I use it all of the time. And it's awed that it does auto updates, so you don't need to fuss with it.

So far, so good! This was easy to connect and set up. I rarely watch DVDs but needed to replace an older player that was getting glitchy. I chose this model as I thought the price was good for the features it provides.

Unfortunately I can't write a good review of this player. First was multiple discs kept locking up, so replaced player. Same issue with new player. Also, states it supports Dolby Vision via firmware update, but Dolby Vision did not appear in either player. I bought it cause I have a Blu-Ray Panasonic player and loved it..

Great video. Easy remote. The Netflix button is right above play, which makes it easy to accidentally hit it. Annoying. Also, the USB ports are very limited when reading devices, especially hard drives, which i find unacceptable for useage.

Works very well. Its simple and does a good job. A bit more expensive than some of the others, but I needed a wifi player because its a nice feature to have and I wanted it to play DVD and Blue Ray.

OK player. But I do not see much of a difference between playing my BLU-RAY movies on here vs playing my DVD's on my Panasonic DVD player/recorder. And playing my DVD's on this player does not make them look any better than when I played them on my Panasonic DVD player/recorder, like I was led to believe they would. I wish the time of the movie being played would show up on the front of the player. It would also be nice if it showed what track was playing on the CD being played, as well as showing the time of the song.

Purchase was open box, like new in excellent condition. All pieces intact, owner’s manual missing, not THAT big of a deal. Should have known; this brand and got it cheap… lesson learned. Operation started off ok, about two weeks later unit was running ‘hot’, so we lifted it and put small risers on the existing rubber feet, it did not help; still running hot. Cooling fan is loud for as small as it is. Then streaming service started to slow down in week three. We thought it was our service provider, it wasn’t. Finally packed it up and retuned it to the store we curbside picked it up from; replaced it with a more expensive but familiar Sony unit. Please note too, returns to BEST BUY have limited-time window. We did not know this, we went in politely and just asked for the exchange assuming there would be no issue. THIS is not how it’s done, the rep said he would do it but not to expect it especially 4 weeks after the purchase. Terrible policy, but Good to know.

Bought this on a Monday & returned it on Wednesday. Setting up the unit was not straight forward. The voice assisted set up was way more annoying than helpful. I could not get the movies I had purchased with the unit to play full screen. The whole thing just didn't work out for me so I returned it, so I returned it. I would not recommend this to a friend.
