Best disc spinner ever. After owning 3 sony players, i finally bought a panny. I am now a fan.

Love it. Just wish it had a display. Does everything else I want from a UHD player though, and plays Dolby atmos too.

I love that I can play both DVD and CD, and I love the 3D operation with Wi-Fi, And the price was great ask well.

Purchased 2023 and Im sorry I did so. I mostly needed a new dvd player bc I have a pretty extensive collection. I shelled out for a 4k player as I felt I should get the latest tech. This think is really a poor effort by Panasonic. Yes it plays discs ok. Unfortunately the menu system is janky AF. I mean JANKY BIG TIME! The player takes forever to boot up. You have to go through several steps just to get to the Play disc option. I tried using the apps for Youtube and Amazon video. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't so try again! And once again even when the app loads, it takes forever to boot up, FOREVER! I did check to see if I had the latest firmware on my unit, yep no update available. And no you can not load more apps. You get Youtube, Amazon, Netflix and a bunch of really weird ones like a chess game and russian tv. Skip this unit in 2023! Skip it!!

Works great. There aren't alot of apps to watch and the remote buttons could have been layed out better but it works great

This is a good, basic DVD player. The operation of it could stand to be a bit more intuitive, which is the only downside.

4k player start up is quick with no lag. Highly recommend this product. Does it job.

i hope it has a button dedicated to subtitle, like the LG. I am satisfied though. Next time you include the HDMI cable.

Ended mainly for the 3D. Love my old 3D tv and many 3D Blu-ray’s. Plays fine.

This is my third blue ray two sonys and this one. This plays for awhile picture goes out but you have sound so I stop the movie open the tray start it over again it does remember where you lefted off and it will play these are brand new movie that I just opened up and started watching with NO finger prints or dust on the lens. Funny thing I never had a problem with the dvd players.

Seemed ok at first, but realizing more and more of its flaws as time goes on. Several new 4k disks show pixel noise halfway through. We even replaced some of those disks and had the same problem, confirming it's the player. Playing regular DVDs is a terrible experience - no control over picture size so it just fills the screen vertically and looks terrible. Pausing and taking a 5 minute break results in player shutting off, and it does NOT resume playback, I have to navigate through the scenes to approximate where I was before. After many years of owning media players of various kinds, this is teh only one that has been problematic.
