This is my first time doing a open box deal. Supposed to me excellent condition. It wasn’t bagged like most things are in the box and I immediately noticed there’s no remote inside. Witch is extremely disappointing. I’ve had n the worst luck with ordering things online since memorial weekend during sells. Every order there’s something wrong, I hate returning and exchanging things. Since I’m not seeing this available online anymore I really hope i have no issues exchanging it for one that has everything included. I also didn’t like it wasn’t put in another brown box. Thank goodness I was home. Everyone could see what it was and so easily been stolen. And the heat would of been terrible for it. I’m now concerned if it’s been damaged from the shipment since it didn’t have very much security or cushion in the inside of the box. Also I think it should state in discrimination what it says in the manual. It runs really hot and will need to be unplugged when it does for more then 3 mins at a time. I never have to unplug my DVD players for that I’m the past and this one cost 3 times as much then and DVD player I’ve ever purchased in the past. Definitely having regrets on this purchase. I wouldn’t recommend it just cause if the manual. My kids aren’t great at turning things off and we stream some days all day long and so how many breaks will we end up taking for item to cool off on those days? I didn’t upgrade to have it be a Pain I’m the neck or to worry about a fire hazard. It also says to not have it enclosed on a shelf or cupboard. That’s a lil high maintenance for me

The blu-ray player is very good; unfortunately I purchased an “excellent” open box buy...all that was in the box was the player and the power cord...missing was the remote and hdmi cable...so much for trying to save money...lesson learned...

The Blu Ray Player has the features that I was looking for in Aplayer

This item was to be installed on a new Series 8 Samsung TV at our beach rental. On 4/28 I attempted to install it - the TV sees that something is installed in the HDMI port it was connected to but when the TV tries to communicate with it, it will not proceed with installation. Several attempts were made with new and existing cables with the same results. I cannot tell if it is the TV or the Blu-Ray that is the issue but there is definitely either a defect or an incompatibility issue. I will be testing it at home when I return to see if it works there.

I bought this device as a replacement for another that broke just after a year of use.
The video and audio are ok, no complaints.
What I don’t like to much is that is not very easy to use and sometimes feels slow.
